There are some eccentric millionaires who would want to buy it either for their aquarium or to set it free!

I am not ....but I don't eat everything that has flesh. Some people do ...be like beasts ....and some even be like vultures ...eating carcass.(Remember the thread about a dead whale that washed up on a beach some time ago? .... the vultures wasted no time.)

Turtle is laden with eggs.

It is just looking for where to lay on shore and return to the waters.

Tough luck though because I am sure it will be eaten.
