Good day everyone and hope your Sunday service to the Lord is good as well. There is this question I've being trying to ask.

Why do Muslims go to mosque on Sundays. It wasn't like this in the 80s and 90s. Does anybody gave an idea as to this development.

Muslims go to Mosques everyday.

Muslims pray everyday. Male Muslims are to perform Salah in the mosque five times daily!

It has been like that before the 80s and afterwards! Maybe you live in a non-Muslim dominated area!

I think you're refering to Assalatu where Muslims engage in teaching and learning of the quran , Hadith and sunnah at the mosque which is usually held on Sundays in majority of the mosques nation wide. Also some attend this Arabic teachings in the evening of week days , after sch.

Good, just surprised when you ask when Muslims goes to Mosque on Sunday.
Muslims goes to Mosque everyday, 5x a day.

They just wanna compete with Christians in every thing.

We know that their big prayer day is Fridays but now they're jealous that Sunday is made to look glamorous by Christians so they want to drag Sunday's too

Right from inception Islam has nothing to share other than imitating churches of Christendom!
The call to worship, repetition in prayer, using rosary, holy women covering their bodies, holy men wearing caps, bowing towards image, reciting a model prayer, traveling for pilgrimage, festive periods, physical fight with weapons in support of faith all originated from the Orthodox Church Muhammad met in the sixth century.
So after discovering that Sundays makes their children and wives vulnerable for churchians to catch they started what you are seeing today.
When we were younger what our clerics used to say back then is that Sunday worship is wrong because it came from pagan Rome and vigils makes no sense but things have changed now Muslims are doing all these things!

I have said it severally on this platform that Islam is confusion.

Muslims now fixed their program like assalatu to Sunday morning to prevent Muslims from going to church with their neighbors.....but still some Muslims still go to churches on Sundays....Even today we had like 2 Muslims in my church...with visible black spot on his forehead...he has alway been coming ..for security reasons I corned him and questioned him ..He said he just like the atmosphere of people worshipping and d messages being preached....he doesn't dance but he nod his head occasionally...but our security personnel are monitoring his every movement...even his picture taken secretly

I am a Muslim, and I have gladly accepted invitations from Christians to visit their places of worship, especially Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Halls. Engaging in such visits reflects my belief in mutual understanding and respectful dialogue between people of different faiths.

Honestly, I appreciated the invitation from the Jehovah's Witnesses to visit their Kingdom Hall. Compared to other churches I’ve attended, their programs and activities felt refreshingly calm and composed. What stood out the most was that my identity as a Muslim did not feel like a barrier or something that needed special attention.

I sat through the entire sermon, listening attentively, without any pressure to jump, dance, shout, or be put on display as a first-time attendee. It was an experience where I could simply observe, reflect, and engage peacefully.

Note: I simply sat or stood when required in all of the invites, respecting their space and customs without compromising my own beliefs.
