It is no longer news that the duo of gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey and the revered General Superintendent the Deeper Life Bible Church, pastor William Kumuyi were invited to grace president Donald Trump's second inauguration.
As a Christian or a Nigerian, are you proud of them?
If you are not, you are entitled to your opinion.
However,in my candid opinion, it shows the kind of 'Christian' you are if you claim to be one.

I'm proud all of them including Trump who always proclaim Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior..

He is one of the most consistent preachers in the world today.
You need to listen to him.

His preaching today is different from his preaching when he first started. In the early days of Deeper life, members are not allowed to own tv set, you have to always look sober, unhappy. Those who owned electronics destroyed them courtesy of his preachings. Today Kumuyi's preaching is very different so is his life style. He deceived the gullible or he was gullible himself.

Pastor Kumuyi has been preaching in different parts of Nigeria and Africafor decades and winning souls as well.
There are lots of sinners over there from where Christian Missionaries came to Nigeria and God wants them saved because Christ Jesus died for all.
I am proud of what God is using him to do and will still use him to do in the United States and other countries.

Looks like you are the one that doesn't know Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

Those that have been following him since his early days know many of his hard stances then that have now been relaxed (maybe as a result of understanding better like Paul the Apostle)

Back in the days, TV was "Devil's box" but Pastor Kumuyi now broadcast on TV and internet

Back then you as a man dare not pick a lady on your Bike even if you stay in the same house and you are going to fellowship together. She would have to leg it to Church if necessary while you ride alone on your 'Okada', That too has been relaxed now if I'm not mistaken

It used to be worldly for your trousers to be too long or you use a belt with golden (even though na painted metal) buckle. Those rules and laws are no more in place and some others I can't remember now

Pastor Kumuyi is a preacher of the word of God with emphasis on holiness that has not changed but as the guy pointed out, Pastor also understands better now that most of those rules of then are just doctrines of men and not necessarily laws of God.
