The embassy will provide consular aid and facilitate his passport from the UK.. he doesn't need to be in the UK to get a new one..

And if needs be and wants to travel to the UK the embassy provides temporary documents to travel.

All these are to buttress my point that kemi did not have to be physically present in the UK to either upgrade or replace her british "international" passport at the time she turned 16 and wanted to leave nigeria..

All kemi needed to be done as regards to any issue on her passports, kemi would have be able to do that in nigeria with help from the British embassy..
