In a heartbreaking tale of shattered dreams, several young Nigerians who sold everything they owned to relocate to Canada are now left destitute, struggling to survive on the streets. With no money, no food, no shelter, and no family to turn to, these individuals face harsh realities far removed from the bright future they envisioned. Many of them had high hopes of pursuing education and better opportunities in Canada. However, the financial pressures of living abroad, coupled with unforeseen circumstances, have left them stranded. Some claim their sponsors back home died, cutting off the funds needed to continue their education, forcing them to drop out of school. Others admit they underestimated the cost of living and the difficulty of securing stable jobs. The streets of Canada have now become a grim reality for these Nigerians, who are wasting away their time and potential. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnTb31exFts

I hope you wont blame this on the Government Yeshua once asked if anyone would decide to build a mansion first before making all needed calculations in cost and materials. I understand Life didnt go as planned for them, but its partly their fault This info is useless to us. Life will take care of them |

madridguy:The fact that they are not contemplating coming back to be under your paymasters is damning evidence of failure. Keep shut. Or didnt you read where they said some underestimated cost of living? Thats partially because to currency back home is useless. |

EmperorCaesar:I blame the govt. These guys are potential forex remitters and it is sad govt cant rise beyond political interest to assist them in their time of need seeing that they can still contribute to the growth of their fatherland from afar. Petrodollar is dwindling per capital terms and it takes and irredeemable economically blind politician no to see the potential these ones who have crossed over have. People abroad too were citizens here and are still. |

emmy4real94:Thank you. They are only seeing the humilating angle of it just to implicitly score cheap political goals that "Nigeria isnt that bad afterall". |

madridguy:Simply reporting to canadians authorities will earn them that. They havent because they fear ending up at their starting point. |

Standing5:You mean government should send them money to assist them? Mind you, these are young lads that still have an energy to work even in a factory or a farm, they can relocate to remote area to work. |

Bloggers and influencers deceived many to come to Canada for studies without adequate funds. There is currently high cost of living and unemployment. If we talk they go say we be hater and dont want them to come |

Not everybody will make it after relocating. As there are hundreds of them who could not make it there, there are thousands others who are making it big there. It is the reality of life. Salah and De Bruyne did not make it big in Chelsea. That doesn't make Chelsea a bad club, because Drogba and Hazard made it there. Hazard not making it in Real Madrid doesn't make it a bad club because Modric, Benzema and Ronaldo made it there. But am I the only one seeing the appearance of these people who didn't make it in Canada? They look tussh and cannot be compared to those who didn't make it in Nigeria, whom we always intreprete as mad people on the street because of how haggard and dirty they appear. ![]() |

Help them, it's cold out there. Life is not easy anywhere and if your life is easy or going well right now, be grateful. I just watched a video of a woman who put her life savings into one of the houses that got destroyed by fire in CA. Life will break you but don't forget to wake up when you're tired of sleeping. Don't let it break you for too long, let this be a temporary season in your life. Pain does not last for too long, unless you want it to.

SMH... This is nothing but drug use. If you can't get minimum wage jobs (which is not true), you can at least apply for voluntary repatriation. In all you do, avoid the trap of Student Route to certain nations like Australia and Canada. Take your time to get in via Express Entry through vocational skills, get your permanent residence and save yourself plenty headaches. Some PR immigrants even spend less than the desperate Student Routers. |
