EFCC honestly should be scrapped. Their members barged into our building of 4 flats at 3 am while having tutorials for our university exams . We thought they were armed robbers and we started shouting thieves until all other students came out with full force to rescue us. Imagine serious students who had nothing doing with fraud being intimidated at 3am

Things are not to be done that way , proper investigation is needed and they obtain a warrant of arrest from any court of law it be from the magistrate and after that they have every right to burgle him but not in a midnight rate as if they are armed robbers...

If they are armed robbers how would the so called labelled internet fraudster know that they are truly a law enforcement agent carrying out their assignment?

Efcc officers and as an organization will still not learn anything from this incident and in no distance time, another one will be shot dead again.

Compare same to police officers collecting Roger for road, despite the fact that when some of them are caught they are dismissed, still those remaining in service still continue.

CIA and fbi will only do this when dealing with terrorists or wanted persons of interest, and have enough Intel coupled with signed warrants.

Financial and Cyber crimes are never handled the same way.

Infact, they will even trail the person and pick him up quietly to avoid civilian casualties.

You can't be messing up a region and folks from there (non docile) and expect hailing all the time. Congo is another unfortunate country like Nigeria. The USA has all it takes to have less rebellious citizens. You still gonna cite it when not having proper education, water, electricity, and future. I only recently realized why Nigerians always have washroom windows, there is no centralized collection of feces and likes. Every compound has a pit or pits!

Go and watch Donald trump's speech, if he gets those highlights right, America will become more powerful. Even folks who don't like him or who didn't vote for him will be thrilled. That is what Nigerian leadership needs, even one person can start the peaceful revolution but in Nigeria everyone is just after what they can get. All is moving into APC (a party that shouldn't be winning any position/elections), keeping Igbos and young people down. Allow people and regions to develop as they can or deem fit. I still believe Southeastern governments and governors must do more in the East and not going to Lagos and Abuja or abroad to invest stolen people's wealth. If not, kidnapping, armed robbery, banditry, yahoo yahoo, and incompetency will be flourishing.

I don't Justify EFCC's Night raid but I equally don't justify Fraud by youths. How do you imagine a boy of 18 buy a car worth 25 million naira. These kills the enterprising and legitimate hard work of those doing what's right to make money. It puts the country in bad light. How can we be ascribed as 3rd most fraudulent people in the world and be avoided like a plague. EFCC should be reformed, they should have a cyber crime unit, who should make arrests only in the day times, while a Unit for large scale sleezy financial corruption for politicians. They should get the express permission of the president to hunt down any Corrupt politician. Crime doesn't pay. Justify it not.

As much as I do not support violence, I believe more of this is coming to EFCC's side as more people will now be taking the same step to seek justice for trauma and embarrassment. I know Nigerians well; once someone takes a bold step, the rest will follow.

My advice to EFCC is to stay quiet for now and ghost.
