It's been an incredible journey with Starlink as my own experience has finally come to an end after a seamless 5 months of use. Reason being I can't afford to pay 75k/month for internet subscription.

Is it worth it? Yes if your business can comfortably cover 900k/yr on internet subscription alone.

Will I miss it? Sure I will as switching to Airtel 5G unlimited 20mbs yesterday the difference was instantly obvious. Imagine getting less than 200Kbps during the day.

Airtel should do better to improve their coverage and connection speed if they're serious with business. Meanwhile I have contacted them and given them location to improve the connectivity, they've done it before and I am sure they will do it again. Thanks to all of you here for your contributions to making the use of Starlink easier.

I have the kits but need only the ethernet adapter. How much for that if you are willing to sell that.

xtremeidea:
Starlink Standard Actuated Kit Package for sale.

Never been activated. comes with Standard Actuated Ethernet Adapter (add on, I bought separately)

Reason for Selling - can't afford the new roaming rates and residential is not available in Lagos anymore.

Price - 550k

Location - Okota, Lagos

Wow that’s huge. I’ve only been able to hit the 1TB mark twice since I started using mine since 2023. That’s the beauty of unlimited data. You will keep downloading until you eventually runout of things to download. These past few months, I hardly go above 800gb before the month runs out
I spend very less time with mine but can exceed 1tb easily within 1 week. next 38k Sub tomorrow

I think if you want to enjoy Airtel unlimited 5G, subscribe to the 35k 40mbps. Lesser down time. That is my experience. I use around 800gb monthly

You can put the SIM inside a smartphone and turn on the hotspot if the router does not improve. Works better that way sometimes.

Will continue using mine. Payment has been shared between me and my wife. Will bring 45k while she brings 30k

So here is an update to my previous post with regards to switching back to Airtel 5G. As I mentioned earlier, if you're experiencing terrible connection speeds do not panic, reach out to Airtel on twitter and give them full details of your area/location. It will be resolved in about 2 days.

My speed as at today has improved to 21Mbps. This is actually enough to run my business. Thank you all 🙏🏾

The frequency of my Starlink Router does not cover my area and I want to extend the wireless to at least 100meters. Please do anyone know any device I can buy to extend my network.

Wow just in one week! Can’t just imagine how much data you will consume if you fully utilize yours for the whole month. You’re lucky your first 75k payment will be starting towards the end of next month. Mine starts from the 1st of next month cry

Mine starts end end of next month too. Still thinking whether I should continue or port. But I can't deny that I am getting massive value from Starlink. I may just continue afterall

Since I already have the airtel 5G router, I’m think about subscribing the 40Mbps for 35k and just cancel my Starlink subscription before my next billing date

Yes Starlink is really giving us value for our money but the new price is quite high especially for those of us who mainly use it for just entertainment which is why I’m considering switching to airtel by this month end and since I already have the 5G router. I don’t have who to share the cost with otherwise, it would have been the best solution for me. I’m just going to miss the speed, reliability and top notch customer support of Starlink. Imagine Starlink sending a new replacement kit twice to me with a free one month subscription as compensation for the inconveniences experienced without charging a dime. Which Nigeria ISP can offer such a service

The speed is far better than most Nigeria Telecom companies around here,in my own case I forced the service on two of our tenants each resident in a 1 bed apartment, I took 120k upfront from each of them and peg their speed to 2Mbps, still looking for More clients to do same for

True but the 50% increase approved still won’t be as high as Starlink’s 75k (100% increase)

The service is even better than the crappy MTN they are using, One of the tenant just bought android TV box and is so smooth that the guy is Very happy with it

You may get around your neighborhood, but you will equally need some networking setup to point to those clients around you

I heard the 20k sub is nonsense and can be used finish in just 1 week of 1 month. is the 35k sub the same? Maybe can be used finish and only difference is speed. Please be sure of the 35k sub before replying. ano wan knack head and later regret

Haba now, take am easy with the hearsay. The 20k sub is a speed-based plan (20MBPS), and it is unlimited. Same for 35k and above...
