...Court admits CTC Results sheets, Bvas and IREV Copy of Results evidence tendered by Witness

Hearing at the Justice Wilfred Kpochi-led three-member Edo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal continued today 21st January 2025 with shocking revelations of how INEC unlawfully excluded a total of 2,840 Votes scored by PDP Candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo in 76 Polling Units in Ward 2, Ikpoba Okha LGA at the September 21st Governorship Election in Edo State

Giving his testimony at the resumed hearing of the petition marked EPT/ED/GOV/02/2024, a PDP witness and LGA Collation Agent for Ikpoba Okha, established in evidence with graphic details that INEC unlawfully excluded 2,840 PDP votes during collation from Ward to LGA levels.

He tendered IREV's Certified True Copies of results sheets obtained from INEC and the duplicate Copies of Polling Unit Result sheets Form EC8A given by INEC to polling unit agents as documentary evidence.

It was revealed that while the correct scores are contained in the IREV duly Certified True Copies(CTCs) declared and uploaded at the various Polling Units; the incorrect scores were later computed in favour of APC at the Ward to state Level (Forms EC8B-E)

The witness stated that as a Collation Agent he thoroughly examined Agent duplicate Copies and INEC verified CTCs of all Result sheets Forms EC8A, EC8B, EC8C, EC8D used for the Election and discovered that results from 76 Polling Units in Ward 2, Ikpoba Okha LGA were declared at the PU levels and uploaded on IREV before transmission to Ward Level for collation, but the results were not finally collated at the LGA and State level by INEC.

Under cross examination by Counsel to respondents, Kanu Agabi(SAN), the witness reaffirmed that he was a Collation Agent in the Election and examined the result sheets by himself.

He went further to tender his agent identification Tags, CTCs of INEC original Result sheets, BVAS Accreditation and original Result sheets from IREV.

The Court admitted all the evidence in spite of the vehement objections raised by Counsels to the First Respondents(INEC) and Second Respondents(Monday Okpebholo) respectively.

INEC is very complicit in election rigging. INEC should be collating ward-level results and upload on IREV !!! 80 % of rigging has its root here and INEC knows this, so upload of ward [/b]results should be mandatory and legal in ALL future elections in Nigeria! Just like polling unit results are uploaded, the results from all the polling units that make up a ward should be collected at the [b]ward level, and the collation officer should upload that sheet on IREV before before before going to the LGA collation. Each state has probably just 280-380 wards.. Now imagine just being able to download and sum the results from this number of result sheets before INEC start doing their abracadabra at LGA and state office., then there is no way a party can rig the votes, because you and I are able to input the figures in excel sheet and even the media can call the results way ahead of time. I have not seen any effort by the useless opposition parties canvass that ward-level collated upload on IREV should be mandatory and legal, because they are also waiting for their turn to benefit from the corrupt system!

Funny enough despite the massive rigging and vote buying, PDP still defeated them. That was why INEC and IGP swung into action as their plan B. They started recording fake results at the LGA and state level forgetting that the results from the poling units and wards have already been uploaded into the IREV at the respective poling units and wards collation centres.
