We stand hell a lot to gain empowering our local manufacturers to provide aircraft's MRO services which ordinarily would have required lots of foreign exchange in outsourcing to some foreign companies. It couldn't be more encouraging for the aviation industry. Similarly, the NAF's partnership with Caverton Helicopters, another local aircraft repair company that specializes in MRO (Manufacturing, Repairs and Overhaul). It's a big boost for the country's industrial capacities.

If you know what is the role of a government you wouldn't be saying all the above. It s the reason the country is in a mess..... square pegs in round holes. 24/7 electricity...a basic infrastructure in the last century the FG cannot provide to date ... nearing the end of the first quarter of this century... and talking about aeroplane plants. The FG diving into private business territory.....Military in Police space .... Police into extortion ...Pastors fleecing parishioners.... terrorists being given scholarships ..... citizens being oppressed but the very oppressed are cheering on the oppressors. We're so confused that we no longer can figure out things for ourselves.

Good initiative that I think even aircraft manufacturers like Boeing and Airbus would be in favour of.

Why? Because main aircraft manufacturers have a backlog of planes that need servicing, and demand for services keep rising, meaning they can’t keep up.

If this structure works, they can direct some of their customers to companies like this in Nigeria. This facility will train young Nigerians in aeronautics skills, increasing the country’s skill sets.

As per people worried out safety, there will be lots of partnership and knowledge transfer between this new company and aircraft manufacturers.

We cannot be a 3rd world country and acting like and forcing ourselves to do what 1st word top nations are doing, and then expect to make progress.

Is like forcing a primary one pupil Who still struggles with basic addition, subtraction and multiplication to do PHD level Math and Physics, it just won't work in a billion years
