Gotcha. I always forget this is a faceless forum and anybody can say and be anything! grin
Bro forget that guy. He is a liar and one of the corruption and bad government defenders we have here. That guy doesn’t have a passport let alone been to the airport.. Don’t take some people seriously here, especially those that are always against travel threads.

No, he relocated from UK to Lagos where he lives in a gated estate and works remotely earning in dollars. But that was last week, this week he is in Gambia? That's the part I don't quite understand

Did he show you evidence that he relocated from UK to live in a gated estate?

The point is whether he did have evidence or not, a lot of people lie here to claim what they are not just so they don’t feel left behind.

There’s one moniker here that extracts pictures from instagram and makes posts about it on how he’s touring the world. I believed him until one user called him out.

I mean why fake anything on a faceless forum where no one knows nothing about your existence. The best places to fake it are Facebook, Instagram and the likes.

Well, instead of always being the broke, messed-up, total nonentity they are, for a few minutes everyday on NL they can pretend to have it all together!

these guys you called are thr 1%ers of Nigeria

And to be frank with you, their living standards is just at par with a working class person here
Only the extra cash makes the difference
How do you measure "living standard". Can you afford maid, driver, cook, all sorts of servants at your beck and call? Working class that can't afford a single servant is on par with Donjazzy!

When I shared my first story, alot of people asked me to share updates about my progress here on Nairaland.

I am doing so for them not for you bro.
OP no mind people like that guy in first quote. It is great you're sharing your story. He's probably jealous he didn't have chance to share his

That is not my point
Access to amenities and being treated/accorded the dignity of being a human being
On that basis , both parties are at par

They're NOT on par at all. Police bow to them, they go first class in everything, including coming to that your Australia to stay in the best hotels, while you're struggling to get by, and you're on par?

That's part of "quality of life" - you're treated like a king, as opposed to treated like a parriah, a second class immigrant with a ridiculous wanna-be accent lucky to be in their country. And you're comparing the two?!

It's all part of what makes a person feel good. Man does not live by infrastructure alone. You have infrastructure but always working to get by and treated like an immigrant. And you're comparing yourself to Donjazzy. Come on
