This barracks could have been used as a carbon sink but of course, nobody is thinking along those lines. This government is more interested in the pomp and pageantry of jamborees like COP 28 - but the real work to make SDG achievable is simply not being done.

Barracks are usually named after individuals or battles. There are also a few that are named after the location of the barracks.

Usually roads, places are named after someone wen the person is dead. The naming of the place immortalizes the person. But Nigerians mis use everything at any opportunity.
