Russia DOES NOT sell directly to Europe.

Oga Europe does not need a Nigerian to purchase gas from Russia. They have the infrastructure and means. Stop fooling.

Russia had only one pipeline go through Ukraine to Hungary. Now it's shut down by Ukraine.

Europe buys Russian LNG gas from Russia, China, India and Turkey. And all buyers are required to open Rubles account and pay in Rubles.

What's so hard to understand?? Russia can no longer use the dollars due to sanctions. How else are they supposed to sell gas if not with Rubles??

Like which one. There are over 50 sanctions on Russia. Russia too is not alone its allies, China Iran, India, North Korea, Indonesia, they all lend support. So it pass sanction if you ask me.

You count North Korea as an ally? Anyway they provided cannon fodder Nd very dated soviet era weapons and ammunition that can sometimes lack even secondary school student level of quality control.

Irans supplies shahed but impact has been reduced since.

India gets cheap crude and and helps keep Russia afloat. Whatever else Russia benefits is definitely classified.

China hasn't given much material militarily to at least to the level to which you would expect from a country of that economic size. I know China is do some stuff underground, like intelligence, drone part, chips.

Now to sanctions that can still be applied:

1. Gazprom Neft and Surgutneftegas were sanctioned for the first time this January. They represent the 3rd and 4th largest oil producers in Russia. Tis is the first time sanctions have been applied on major oils produccers. Imagine sanctions on 1st and 2nd.

2. Sanctions can still be applied on more ships in the shadow fleet. Biden recently sanctioned over 180, but Russia has hundreds of them. That's give Trumps more ships to go after.

3. Biden actually placed a complete bam of oils servicing. With it, long term you could in the soup without the technology. You production capability will drop in the long term.

4. Their LNG was sanctioned for the first time by Biden this January. One functional LNG. More LNG facilities can be sanctioned too by Trump.

There's are other areas still left standing.

Not saying Russia will collapse, it will squeeze the regime harder for sure.

Russia major export is oil and china is it biggest market. China total oil import dropped by 2% last year because of its push to renewable.
Secondly with trump trying to flood the world with cheap oil in the next 3-4 months . Expect oil prices to tank forward.
