Dead this idea please. It is not a shame. What do you need National carrier for? It will be another avenue for politicians to steal govt. allocated funds, frustrate Airpeace and other airlines.

Nigeria already doing something great with Kenya lately. Dangote is already combing the Angola oil field. I am seeing Tinubu pushing something with Uganda Government to engage Dangote to handle their Oil Exploration they are closing on.
The Europeans are already looking to Nigeria for Oil&Gas deal.

The USA and the UK don't have a national airline.

The last time Nigeria had a National airline (Nigeria Airways), the elites and political class turned it into a taxi service. It was a national embarrassment similar to PHCN, NNPCL and Nigeria's Custom.

You left the important question to be saying irrelevant things, how far that our Nigeria Air something, the planes crash? Where is the news of the crash?

I have found that apart from their jobs many Nigerians especially this gen z have no iota of how the government and the economy works.

They also have a my way or no way at all syndrome where they expect that government should kowtow whatever gibberish half baked myopic economic jargons they consider good in their eyes.

It's not compulsory that a country should have carrier. Governments of UK and US don't have national carriers yet thousands of flights occur there daily. Just make your country an aviation hub by increasing both social, commercial and tourist attraction. Airlines will line up in your airports.
