swiz123:The justification you are giving to be able to criticize players is that you subscribed to dstv yet you are also saying pundits who are payed to offer their insights and professionally critique those players with an addition of being ex players themselves should not call them out for playing nonsense lmao. You with zero knowledge of being a professional footballer can call out players but ex footballers hired as pundits should not call them out. Once again can you actually hear your self? |

swiz123:You have the right because you are paying for the service So who are you paying in Chelsea currently, for you to have the right to demand any service? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:20pm On Jan 23, 2025 |
swiz123:The pundits too are paying for it. So what exactly are you doing that is exceptional? If paying for DSTV gives you rights, why can't it give the same to a Shitty player that pays too? |

Trump should know that Russia is not afraid of economic sanctions. There was sanctions yet they took Crimea The same sanctions didn't stop them from defending the breakaway Ukrainian regions. The victory or bargaining power you didn't achieve on the battle field cannot be achieved through threat of economic sanctions... not against a very powerful and formidable foe like Russia. Russia is selling their gas in rubbles. https://www.nairaland.com/8324831/trump-threatens-russia-tariffs-sanctions

Kimbeast:I think you need to refer back to constructive criticism and destructive criticism. I expect pundits to criticize constructively, I also pay to watch that too. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by swiz123(m): 8:10pm On Jan 23, 2025 |
izzou:The TV right money which I contribute to gives me that right. I don't criticize Fernabache players, I don't watch them cos I can't pay to watch them. I also expect pundits to criticize in a constructive and professional manner. That's what they are paid to do. |

swiz123:So you think that those retired millionaire footballers who have homes with their families living in them do not contribute to TV right money? Or is it that you think they are homeless and live in the TV studio? |

izzou:Imagine saying someone whose job actually requires him to criticise footballers has no right to criticise but you whose job is actually to support footballers ( as a football supporter) has such a right. People, some of who could not make their secondary school team or even their class team are good enough to criticise professional footballers but those who went beyond that and were actual pros have no right. Very makanaki something. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:He's been seriously misinformed on the war or how to broker peace because he still has all those CIA shills like Rubio around him. Deep state hacks cosplaying neocons. Putin has all the leverage and by the time Trump realizes it he'll fire some people to save face. Typical Donald. Once I saw that post, I just laughed. |

swiz123:Funny enough, I actually thought Jamie was quite hilarious and more quick witted in relation to the whole Brest commentary. Think it's just a matter of perspective |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by KingTom(m): 11:37pm On Jan 23, 2025 |
User09:Kate herself went too far by saying 'would they come a bit quicker for brest tonight' and even Jamie sef had to caution her. but it's all fun ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ibime(m): 12:02am On Jan 24, 2025 |
KingTom:She doesn't have good wordplay to resort to that low hanging fruit. If Gary Lineker was there, he would have finished them with wordplay. Gary can pull any wordplay out of his hat. You would be hearing things like 'the success of Brest isn't measured with cups", "Barcelona couldn't milk the opportunities Brest presented", "Brest are strapped in for a difficult game". "Red card led to Brest reduction". There was one World Cup match Argentina flogged Serbia and Montenegro, and Linker and Wright were just coming up with wordplays about how S&M got a good whipping, I nearly fell off my chair |

BlueRayDick:that is why successful first generation athletes and artistes are usually from very poor backgrounds. they never had anything to lose in the first place. but you already have opportunities available to you - and your parents were weighing the risks. and it is much worse with football in particular which has a very narrow window in which you can hammer. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 8:45am On Jan 24, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:You are very correct ; the few people who made it are those whose parents couldn’t afford to send them to higher institutions even if they wanted to . They are mostly people who struggled to finish secondary school despite being beneficiaries of Lagos state free education up to secondary school level . For those who had options, their parents encouraged them to have good SSCE result to have a good shot at university and then make something out of their degree in the future . |

BlueRayDick:That's the reason I regard the U-17 as our most important football age cadre because they're the only players who are MRI age-tested by FIFA and are (close to) the ages they claim. Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi, Isaac Success, Kingsley Michael are products of the MRI era U-17 Golden Eaglets teams who are still playing actively today. |

Android17:As a presidential candidate he said he will end the war under 24hrs. Now he's saying 100days. Ukraine is about to draft teenagers to the front lines so Russia have nothing to worry. I guess after 100days and there's no ceasefire or truce he will fire Kellogg.
