semid4lyfe:Even those ones are older than 17 when they played U-17, but they didn't reduce their age as much as their elders used to back in the days. They are close to the age they claimed sha. |

iamoyindamola:A consumer is within her right to review a product she purchased with her money and can make complaints if she's not satisfied with the product. In fact, it is the other way round in law. The lady can actually sue Hilda if indeed the fish tasted spoilt and she became unwell after eating her food. The landmark case of Donoghue Vs Stevenson speaks to this(Look it up). She can sue Hilda for negligence |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by iamoyindamola(m): 2:01pm On Jan 24, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:Unfortunately she can’t prove it |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 2:08pm On Jan 24, 2025 |
iamoyindamola:You don't know that. It is only the court that can decide if sha can prove it successfully or not. Once she can prove that she bought the product, she consumed the product and the product made her unwell; the court will definitely rule in her favor. The vendor/seller/fast food owner will be liable for negligence. Na wetin people dey use make serious money for abroad be that. It's because we don't have a suing culture here in naija, that's why manufacturer go dey use police shut down consumer wey dey complain about their product being substandard/defective. |

BlueRayDick:Those parents were right. You have a higher chance at being a Neurosurgeon than being a successful pro athlete. We all love the lives of celebrities because we see them on TV but what goes beneath is very challenging If my kid is not extremely talented, I will bever encourage them into pro sport, not even in the western world. In most cases it ends in regret |

BlueRayDick:The system work better in abroad, the first thing she should have done is take it to maybe nutritionist to verify her claim and get a report She can take the report to a lawyer to sue the restaurant Did she do that? No she bought it to SM to catch cruise, if Hilda decides to slam her with lawsuit she is within her right as evidence yapa |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by iamoyindamola(m): 2:37pm On Jan 24, 2025 |
raumdeuter:How can you know your kid is not talented if he didn't try at academy level One thing with football is just have the basic skills and luck, there are some players you can swear you are better than |

BlueRayDick:the truth of the matter imho though is these bloggers are not really motivated by any issues with quality - it is all about engagement farming and catching cruise and setting loose a twitter mob if you have a bad experience with the food, you first take it up with the proprietor in private. an active proprietor is interested in growing their business and will take all feedback |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 2:42pm On Jan 24, 2025 |
iamoyindamola:ibime disagrees with this i remember him saying there is a very narrow path to football stardom, unlike american football or basketball. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 2:50pm On Jan 24, 2025 |
iamoyindamola:She doesn't need to take the food to a nutritionist. If she ate the food and felt unwell she can sue Hilda for negligence and she will win in any court be it naija or Yankee, provided it is confirmed by a medical practitioner that the food made her unwell. It's just like buying a juice and seeing particles inside after drinking it. U can sue the manufacturer and win them fine fine. |

iamoyindamola:You people have started dropping opinions again without actually knowing what happened. This just proves you didn't watch the video. It was turkey pepper soup she ordered and she only complained about the quantity. Fish tasted spoilt ko |

BlueRayDick:This is your Nigerian bias coming through. I doubt you would have posted this if the players were not Nigerians. If I recall the events of 2013 and 2015 Nigeria U-17 campaign cycle correctly, the bulk of the players that played the qualifiers and the African championship got dropped prior to the world cup because they failed the MRI test. Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City was one of such casualties in 2013. The fusion of the distal radius in his wrist was adjudged to be beyond the acceptable U-17 MRI threshold. New teams were hurriedly put together and the players who made the final cut for the U-17 competition of those years all passed the MRI test conducted by FIFA so make we accept am say dem be real U-17 then. Every other thing na speculation. |

GloriousGbola:Whether she's doing for engagement farming or not, once the lady can prove that the food quality is poor and the food gave her issues; she has a strong case. All those other ones na emotion and using ur church mind o. Do u even know that u can sue the owners of a build like hotel if u get injured within their premises? Maybe they have a soak-away pit that is opened and u fell into it or u slipped on a wet surface which their cleaner just mopped. It's because over here in naija we always overlook these things and don't even know our rights, that's why it looks as if these laws are absurd; they are not. |

semid4lyfe: ![]() Just dey play. I clearly stated up there that they are not far from the age 17 , but they are definitely not 17 and below. I see some of the names u included and I just laughed. I hope u know that there are people who know some of these guys from childhood sha? |

iamoyindamola:The pathway to making it in football or any sport is too narrow, You dont miss much by assuming you don't have such abilities and just focus on what is within reach with efforts |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 3:24pm On Jan 24, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:I disagree. Na these ones even narrow pass especially basketball. The league where you make money well is the NBA. There are about 400 pro players in the NBA. So the millions of boys all over the world are trying to get into the 400 spots in NBA and competing with Jokic from Serbia, Wemby from France, Giannis from Greece, Doncic from Slovenia, Siakam from Cameroun etc Sure there are other leagues in Europe and elsewhere but none makes as much money as NBA. Total number of pro basketballers all over the world might be less than 10000 and this will include those playing for Ebun Comets of Akure and Rivers Angels In football, there are many leagues, almost every country has a thriving pro league even though Europe is where the money is. In Europe sef you still have multiple countries and leagues where you can get a good salary |

raumdeuter:A very sound analysis. The path to making it in most sports are just so narrow compared to making it in business , trade and other professions. |
