Every job has it's sweet and bitter sides.
When you quit a job, you miss the sweet side more because after all the bitterness you still get paid.
That being said....quitting a job to sit at home is .....

A Nigerian man, Quadri Yakubu, has disclosed how he became a happier man and husband after he quit his banking job.

Taking to his Twitter page, the young man stated that the distance from his house and his workplace was very far which put some pressure on him at work.

He disclosed that he had marital issues when he used to work at the bank but he became more happier when he stopped his banking job.

He wrote,

“Immediately I left my banking Job, I noticed that I became happier and more loving to my wife and kid,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

Imagine living in Mararaba and working in Jabi, as if the pressure from Madam ND and Co is not enough, the Mararaba -AYA traffic will add to your troubles! The work pressure almost made me run mad.

Whenever I get home, the greeting from my wife seems like a disturbance, but all that changed the very day I dropped their ID card for them.

The kind of work you do has a way of affecting your mental health. I have suffered too much in this life, I deserve some enjoyment! It’s not easy anywhere, please don’t allow anyone to mess with your mental health.

Omo some jobs will make you loose peace of mind🤒
Having worked in the bank,I can understand u better.
The day I left I was more than happy.

Thank God for the knowledge too.

But i hope you get another job as soon as possible, hummm! Because if you no bring money come house , na another big wahala oo. I wish you all the best. One important point women have to note, a man that will give you time to dey sit down for house with you dey look your face will not have money to give you. No man can give a woman time and money. You have to choose one and loose the other. If you want him to give you money, then you should not complain when he is outside hustling for money to give you even if he comes home late
Some of you can be very funny here, so you think a married man will resign just to go sit at home and post -resign he is more happier

which man go dey happy if his account is on Red

I am happy for you!
I advised my son too
Not to spend more than 5 years in the Banking sector!
Don't marry there!
Don't have babies there!
Thank God he agreed!
He has greater time freedom now!
Financial freedom is rising gradually as an independent Realtor....

Sometimes making a little with peace of mind is better

I have worked in two banks and I can relate, it doesn't always favour everyone

I felt happier too since I left the banks, even now I make more.

Don't mind him! If he quit his banking job to be available to his wife and kid then that is when he will learn. He thought he had marital problems but it is when he is unemployed with no money that he will know the meaning of marital problems.

The banking sector is nothing more than corporate or modernized slavery.

Women bear the brunt of this slavery, but who will enlighten them?

Nothing surpasses the satisfaction of possessing something reliable and transparent that generates income under your control.

This is where Trading Estate comes in tho.

Exactly,
you get the point now.

Time is an incredibly valuable asset for women.

Yet, time is often not on their side. These blue-collar organizations exploit their ignorance, buying their time for a few pieces of silver, only to discard them once they've been drained of all their worth.

At that point, "Had I known" becomes the new anthem of a disillusioned president, echos of regret.
Shebi you would be feeding them and paying their bills if they don't work during their "prime"

Truth be told, some jobs will make you miserable, and feel worthless. I've had this feeling many times, sometimes I just feel that my boss is gaslighting me.

I hope you live a happy new life, and make progress in the things you do next.

100 % True. I felt the same joy immediately I resigned from one of the bigest commercial banks in Nigeria as a contract staff. I felt like a bird that just gained freedom after soo many years in a cage. That was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. You see this thing called bank job, run ohh. especially for contract staff.
