Isn't Nigeria burning? World poverty capital, one of the most insecure countries on earth, one of the most corrupt, and one of the most politically instable

Which other burn were you looking for?

I don't think Nnamdi Kanu is trying to frustrate his trial, all he asked for is another judge to take over his case because the one their is biased

But I wonder why people are so focused on Kanu's trial, whatever the judgement is will not remove the fact that Nigeria is a catastrophic failure that raise many more Nnamdi Kanu's in the future
The Chief Justice requested his legal team to formally file the request to get Justice Binta Nyako to recuse herself from his case and also support their request with evidences thT she has been compromised or why she should recuse herself.

Did Kanu's legal team do that?

The focus on Kanu's case by so many people is because Kanu is doing media trial of the courts, even while he is custody. He probably thinks that will help his case but he doesn't know that every judge that will handle his cases now will be resolute and determined to serve him Justice.

Personally, I don't see Nnamdi Kanu escaping Jail term or even death sentence.

He instigated a lot of crimes against Nigerians, police, soldiers and his fellow South Easterners. He must take responsibility for his actions in court.

This same line is always regurgitated and spilled by those who are the most hypocritical people in this country.

You were all here watching the army personnels engage in a useless operation python dance which they started from the edge of town and worked their way via 3 different routes directly to the neighborhood of MNK where they eventually decided to start shooting everything in sight that moved once they arrived at his family compound killing both his family, tenants and even pets undecided

So MNK running away from his own extrajudicial death sentence is him jumping bail ba? No worry. Let's continue in our usual tomfoolery in this country. Heaven would bear witness to the eventual collapse of our fragile nation in the absence of equity, justice and truth.

Oh, I can't wait for such a time. grin
Abeg stop defending nonsense

Oga stop with the needless deflection and flim flamming, you and your ilk claimed the heavens will fall if Kanu (and Ekpa who is about to get his too) was arrested.

Three years in jail and we are still waiting for the anarchy you promised, yet your people will be jumping up and down calling Ndi Yoruba cowards.

Not even at attempt to break him out of custody, not one. Shane suppose catch una.

I guess that was why Kanu ordered the destruction of infrastructure in Lagos and Abuja (obviously not in the South East) and the killing of soldiers and police all over the country. He specifically ordered the burning of Tunubu's house on Burdilion Road, Muritala International Airport amongst others.

You know Buhari should have awarded Kanu GCON for all his antics instead of locking him up in prison where he belongs.

Let him continue to be talking to the public rather defend himself in court from apparent treasonable changes.

You guys don't get it. Kanu is commited to the cause of Biafra. He always knew that what he is doing could get him killed or locked up, and has accepted it, as all freedom fighters do.

If Kani is released he will go back to the cause of Biafra

If he is killed, he will become a matyr to his people, and his death will spark a wave violence for many years to come

If he is jailed, it will make many more millions of Igbos hate and resent Nigeria the more

Whatever the scenario, the issue of Nnamdi Kanu will not end well for Nigeria, the support he has amongst his people is just too strong

But in all fairness to Nnamdi Kanu, the courts haven't been fair to him at all although he might also have had a role to play in that, he jumped bail and was on the run until his arrest again so they both deserve each other.

Whatever is wrong is wrong, its not bad to struggle for rights and infractions done by the State but the way we go about it is quite another thing. The State will come down hard on anyone who want's to test it's will especially a sovereign State. I know it will end one day in a political settlement but how many will have to die for all of this? We can achieve anything if we can go about it in a peaceful manner devoid of violence or stoking of ethnic or religious sentiments....It is well.

Okay. Let is allow the courts to do their job.

If Kanu ends up in jail or sentenced to death. So be it.

That is all.

You have in detention 3 years and Nigeria is much worse than before you arrested him

He is not in kirikiri that is why he still has mouth to talk, he is living large inside a mansion in Abuja
He is just on house arrest, that DSS detention is just like a private house, which only his lawyer can visit

DSS even use to arrange OS for him to knack because he has right to conjugal visits.
As his wife still the far Abuja babes the close.

Until they send him to kirikiri or kuje he will keep talking

Person the prison the wear designer Versace?
He is just on house arrest.

Make God help him make tinubu reason him matter because if Tinubu didn't help him and another northern government enter, na death go settle his case las las.

Add to my comment, seriously Igbo politicians are not trying for him, only that senator from abia that bail him the last time was the only person that man a move to help him.

If all the south east governor come out strong even the senators and house of reps, tinubu might consider to be merciful with him, maybe he serve only 20 years in prison. Instead of life sentence because from what I can see, that man will definitely die in prison. He will not be sentence to death but he will remain in prison till he die.
Cho cho cho cho
MNK will be out before 2027
