Well, Nzeogwu was an incorruptible idealist whose detractors never even questioned his motives behind the January 1966 coup.

He was highly respected by the non-Igbo military officers such that he was buried by Gowon and the Nigerian government with full military honours despite fighting for Biafra in the civil war.

Feel free to argue with Nzeogwu and Gowon.
