I read it most times here when people who aren't from south south attack people and when you asked then why they are attacking people when Jonathan doesn't seems to care, they claim they are supporting Jonathan and trying to revenge for Jonathan therefore they have created enemies for themselves that even Jonathan kinsmen have moved on and joined other progressive because they understand politics.

But surprisingly some hatefilled cretins still use Jonathan to manifest the hate in their heart. The question now is that, what if Jonathan joins APC tomorrow. What will those people say?

They have forwarded that in politics no permanent friend and no permanent enemy and the fact that I don't vote someone means I hate him, it means I have a better option and since there is freedom of choice I go for my most preferred candidate.

So presidobi and co, the fact that many didn't vote Jonathan doesn't mean they hate him, in politics you go for options you feel it's best for you. Those who see political choices as hate are those who still hate others and today they are allienated.

Op, the argument is never about political party or personality, it is your brain that made you think that way, or may be you are being untruthful to yourself.

The issue is that SW hated Jonathan because they perceived him to be Igbo. They saw Goodluck Ebelechukwu Azikiwe Jonathan as an Igboman, hence he surrounded himself with Igbo technocrats. For that, Yoruba could not tolerate his tenure as president. It was all borne out of hatred for the IGBOS.

Truth is that, as far as the average Yorubas are concerned, anyone from across the Niger is OMO-IBO. Whether they are Ibibio. Efik. Ijaw, etc, they are all IGBOS, especially where their middle names are IGBO name. Even Edos and Deltans are classified as Igbos, that is basically your people's mentality and it will takes ages to correct it because you do not travel outside of the SW.

So, back to your topic, GEJ cannot join APC, because in SE and SS, APC remains a Muslim party, that is why they do not vote the party. At grassroot level, the party is derogatorily termed "Alakubar Party". So rather than vote APC, they will follow LP and if not PDP. Please, do not come here to preach to me about Edo Elections. Only Edo North supports APC, because 60 - 70% of Edo North are Muslims.
