Vigilante in Udi Local Government Area in Enugu State apprehended some Fulani herdsmen who made an attempt to kidnap a cattle buyer. The cattle buyer was tricked to the bush by the herdsmen that they wanted to sell a cow. Unfortunately, they brought out guns but the cattle buyer was able to escape. He alerted security forces who stormed the area and apprehended some of them while others ran away. If they had succeeded in kidnapping the man, nairaland will change the news to; "Ipob esn terrorists kidnap a businessman in Enugu" They will quickly push to frontpage and start offering advise like "Why did Peter Obi not speak against this" ? I remember how a little promising girl was killed in her father's car in this same Udi. I posted the story on this forum. You can check my threads for it. The level of insecurity in Nigeria is on another Level. Just in Kaduna, in Adara and other communities, these Fulani Herdsmen levy the villagers and farmers there for them to be able to live peacefully on their own land. They levy them as high as 1 million! I dont understand when Fulani herdsmen have formed a parallel government where they tax nigerians and the government won't do anything. The government should ban open grazing in the whole country. That's what a president with balls would do. Like, how will a herdsman, a personal business man levy people of a community where his herds feed and stroll pass, how will he levy his hosts and still sell the cows?
