Hello, I applied Australia visa last year December. To my surprised I got denied and they stated "They are satisfied with my document and bank statement but they consider the crash economy in my country NIGERIA and our insecurity too" so if they grant me visa I may decide not to exit Australia again. That was the reason of my denial this Jan 2025. What can I do next? I need advice because I'm not really satisfy with the reason of my visa rejection. Thank you

lol 😂, every Embassy/ Ambassador living in Nigeria, knows what is happening all over the country.

They give reports to their home country from time to time and as a result their home country issues various security alerts on places to avoid in Nigeria

They also give projected abi predictions about the Economic & Political situations of the host country to their home government

They know how desperate Africans / Nigerians are to flee to the West

Their home government listens to them than listening to your Buhari, Osibanjo, Tinubu, etc and base on all or some of the points l made above, It transcends to visa issuance or rejections to citizens of that country

The Embassy or Ambassador are like spies feeding their various home country with all the happenings going on in Nigeria

All the corruption, Egunje brown envelopes etc going on in Nigeria, they know it and documents it as well

The embassy and Ambassadors are loyal 100 💯 to their home country

Can someone convert a tourist visa to a work visa in Australia.

My friend is traveling to Australia next week with a tourist visa, he is going for an Agricultural conference and may wish to convert to a work visa if possible when he gets there. Is it possible?

Ok. He has exceeded the maximum allowable age for the Australia skilled migration. The only route for him now is visa 482 job sponsorship. This doesn't actually come that easy though. But there is no wrong in trying.

He can put up application on Australia jobs sites and look for employers to sponsor him.

He can also try and look for those in his occupation who are residing in Australia to recommend him for jobs sponsorship over there. I know of a one man who got sponsored through this process. One of his friends recommended him in his office in Australia, and he was sponsored right from Nigeria on visa 482.

However, if that doesn't work, if you have qualification or experience in a good occupation, and your age is below 45, you can choose to go ahead with the usual migration process while your husband become the dependant.

If all these options fail, if there is funds, then the only route is through study for you, which is the same process OP use for his wife whom he later joined. Try and discuss these with your hubby first so you guys can put heads to together. Nothing is impossible!

I especially like how you touched on the difference in the overall experience of routine care Vs emergency care in the UK cos it is a significant one to note, cos the routine one wey concern the vast majority of cases and that most people need, you gats wait months, but the emergency care na im you put for front burner in this instance

BUT here is the thing for me, I simply cannot agree that the simple presence of emergency care to the person in Aussie is enough reason to say he is living a better life than someone who is excelling, well read and rose through the ranks to become a .regional manager at Zenith, simply cos he can't get a chopper ambulance to pick him up or an ambulance to get to him in 5mins. Fulfilment in life doesn't come from emergency care. What life and living is about is more than emergency care. Very very many people go through a whole lifetime without the need for emergency care. Many people who get emergency care still die. Na the things wey dey drive most peeps and give them fulfillment dey that table below. To now tell me the person wey dey level 1 better pass person wey dey level 4 or 5 simply cos e get access to emergency care, no jus follow as far as I am concerned.

My brother, I recently rejected a remote offer from a Singapore based tech company because I am over booked. Tech is so powerful and what tech did for me in two years is unbelieveable for me o.
