Ideal with the same issue for two applicants around October a d I was able to solve it on Dec. Even if you still want to pay afresh you won't be able to solve the issue because still their profile are already exist on AVITS portal.

Hello Everyone,

I need help. I've made MRV payment since November through FBNonline and it's yet to be validated till now. I can't access the appointment scheduling platform.

I've raised tickets, sent emails to Nigeria@avits and lagosNIV@state, called the customer care and used the chat box. They all promised to escalate and I can't see the result.

Please who knows how this can be resolved.

Yes it's compulsory. It serves as an evidence of payment especially this new AVITS mode of operation.

Applied since 20th September; and since then haven't been able to schedule interview; raising support ticket via the avits portal is so unreliable and complete waste of time; took the advise of people on this platform to send email to LagosNIV@state.gov;

Today I got an email which doesn't really solve the problem; is anyone in this kind of situation and got this kind of email response from the consulate?

I paid the MRV fees by making a deposit at a local First Bank branch.

I entered my Amentum number on AVITS after 48 hours (as recommended) with the hope to access the scheduling calender. But I haven't been able to get past this stage. I have raised multiple tickets and the responses have been that the issue has been escalated to the Support Desk, yet, no resolution.

I also emailed the addresses shared here but there is still no resolution.

Good day all. Please how many date reschedules are permitted currently on the AVITS portal? If I select a date, can I reschedule to another date without paying another visa fee. Thank you.

I paid mine about two years ago i only got an MRV email with ds160 number on them. i dont have the gtb receipt or cant remember where it was

the mrv email says MRV PAYMENT
i am not sure if this wil serve as receipt

you lucky then, if you can pick on the same day, it's much more advisable, because OIS can be petty atimes

You can Reschedule 2 times on this new portal and you would not need to pay another Visa fee for this.

It's is the ref no under the bar code of the receipt received from the bank you are going to put. It started with OIS/date of payment/1234...

Thank you for the guidance. Whenever I enter the reference number and the date, it logs me out. If I log in and try again, I get logged out again.

By the way, did anyone try calling any of the embassy/consulate phone number shared during the weekend, please?

After making the payment, do they generate a Ref. No for you to insert on the AVITS page after the payment. Because that's what you can use get to the next stage of your appointment. If not I think there is an error somewhere else

The payment Ref No start with OIS/date of payment/1234.. and whenever you insert it it will be logging you out instantly and you try like 3times... With that in the next 24hrs you should be able to move to the appointment scheduling page.

Or how did it go whenever you inserted the Bank ref no?

I only inserted it once and the whole dashboard went blank.

I haven't been able to access the payment section ever since and when I try to create a new application it says "Duplicate application for this user'
