I lost my WAEC certificate and have since been using the digital certificate. I hope this won't be an issue during visa interview?

Sorry I can’t show you any email but he sent the block account confirmation on Friday and they responded today with a rescheduled date for tomorrow.

Congratulations. It means you're sure of AM. Just normal health insurance. Get one from Dr Walters. Please pick a provider that lets you pay when you get to DE

You can use it only if it's still valid. If you've previously enrolled, please use it. The most important thing is that it must be an admission that will give you valid student status in Germany. That's why the embassy asks for enrollment letter later on before AM.

Go and register on the appointment portal. The consular portal is not yet active for study visas. When you book, you get appointment within 1- 4 weeks for CAT A. Most get within 2 weeks

TestAs is a requirement peculiar to courses and schools. Check the requirements of your course from the course website and requested documents on uni-assist. If it's not listed, you have no business with it.

The site has been updated. You need to register on the consulate website. CAT A applicants can only use the online platform now

It was my degree certificate. I did not seen where it was requested for in the student checklist and at my appointment I was asked to prove I was in category A.

I had my transcript and thought that would be sufficient proof but I was denied.

And the school also gave me new SoSe2025 AL. for the Embassy purpose.

From what I filled, there’s nothing that categorizes as category A. It’s just student visa with admission. This is the screen I got after submitting

You don't have a problem. Only AL is on the checklist. So take it with you. You definitely have to enrol for this summer semester. So be prepared when the embassy asks for the new enrolment letter

I think what you’re referring to is the questionnaire. Yes it did ask about scholarship status but didn’t mention anything other than that.

I qualify for category A as a first-class graduate and I cannot see any option to indicate that

Well, it was during the Christmas period, December 16th and I got January 27th as the appointment date.

I don’t know how long it took to actually process and how the holidays affected it because the Consulate General was closed for a large portion of December.

I also called the visa section and it seems like they’re not sure what’s going on as well so everything is a bit up in the air right now.

See what u should do.

Write them email as MissNK suggested with title of submission of missing documents and explain to them you had appointment but couldn't proceed as your certificate was not with u since it was not on the checklist.

Explain your first class blaablaa and upload the documents. They will rebook u.
