The US did not fight alone. It contributed the largest force but relied on 41 other countries, including Niger to fight. So how can you say the US won the war?

The "US-led coalition" would have been a better word. Remember that the armies were organized and fought under the banner and flag of the UN and not the US.

As for the 2003 war, the US lost that fair and square. They captured and killed Saddam but the Iraqi resistance kept fighting. The Iraq war lasted from 2003 until the US fled in 2011. It did not end in 2003.
