The notice below is for those whose children or wards are just reaching age 16.

To avoid issues during their registration for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Exam, such children need to be taken to any National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) office for “Migration” of their National Identification Number (NIN).

ATTENTION PARENTSIGUARDIANS!
Is your child/ward under 16 or just turned 16 on their NIN record? They won't be able to generate their JAMB profile code. Take them to the nearest NIMC Enrollment Center for a quick "Migration" update. Ensure their dreams of higher education aren't delayed!

Ability to pass the qualifying exams is clear demonstration one is fit for university

I do not get why bright kids, who have smashed their WAEC & JAMB, should be kept idle at home for a whole year just because they happen to be 15…makes no sense to me

This has been the major obstacle to process automation in Nigeria. Human interference must be eliminated to cleanse our system of corruption.

What’s there to love about the outdated chaos of queuing at NIMC centers? It’s a frustrating and inefficient system that needs urgent modernization.

It's so unfortunate..... No data at all!

But more unfortunate that many years since NIMC started, we're yet to get a better and more efficient way of centralized birth registration, or maybe I'm not aware yet.

Let's even start correcting the old errors. Till today, when a child is born, we rely on hospital birth certificate that's not verifiable anywhere.
It can always be falsified at any point.

BEING ABLE TO SMASH WAEC AT 15 ISN'T A SIGN OF EMOTIONAL OR MENTAL MATURITY.
EVEN AT 16 SEF, ITS TOO YOUNG. FROM 18 UPWARDS IS IDEAL.
TERTIARY INSTITUTION ISNT LIKE SECONDARY SCHOOL,
MANYLIFE MISTAKES HAPPEN THERE.

Why can't it be done automatically. It's just another means to exploits the Masses cause I know it won't be free. Trust naija, they will sha milk you. And we like stressing ourselves, candidates will queue at jamb now NIMC again.
