Proskuneo is the same word translated worship in Luke 24:52 and Mathew 28:17 where Jesus was worshipped by the disciples as He ascended.

"Proskuneo" (προσκυνέω) is the same word used in several Bible verses in direct reference to worshiping God.

Here are a few examples:

Matthew 4:10: Jesus says, "You shall worship (proskuneo) the Lord your God, and serve Him only."

Matthew 15:9: Jesus quotes Isaiah 29:13, saying, "And in vain they worship (proskuneo) Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."

John 4:20-24: Jesus discusses worship with the Samaritan woman, saying, "The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship (proskuneo) the Father in spirit and truth."

Revelation 19:10 and 22:9: The apostle John falls down to worship (proskuneo) an angel, but the angel tells him to worship (proskuneo) God instead.

These verses demonstrate that "proskuneo" is indeed used in reference to worshiping God in the Bible, and its the same word used in worshipping Jesus in Mathew 28:17, Luke 24:52 and Hebrews 1:6.

I have in my previous post given you all the titles of God which are also borne by Jesus. Only God has those titles. Since there are no two Gods. Only one God. If Jesus bears the same titles as God, then Jesus is God.

Janosky, let's take a closer look at our discussion about the Trinity.
For example, I know we have a common ground regarding the New Creation doctrine. You and I believe that there's a new heaven and a new earth in our future which shall be inhabited by the New Creation as the Old Creation shall pass away.

Please understand that God is the only Creator, He created the first Creation. Do you think that God will put the second Creation into the hands of an angel? No, God will do it Himself. Both the first and second creations are God's personal undertakings. Hence, as the first Creation was not undertaken by an angel, even so the second creation, which is a correction of the corrupted and old creation cannot be entrusted to an angel. God has to do it by Himself, and this time in the form called Jesus Christ.

Again, take a look at some of Jesus' words and have your own individual reflection at them, you would conclude that an angel cannot talk the way Jesus talks. Take for example, His discourse in John 6. Maybe you can go through the whole chapter again and reflect on the possibility of the speaker being an angel. It would be repulsive to your spirit. Let me highlight verses 50 and 51 as an illustration.

"This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."

Can you imagine any angel being the Living Bread or the Bread of Life? It's not possible. The only Life Source in the entire universe is God.

There's only one God. His name in the Old Testaments is Jehovah. His name in the New Testament is Jesus, and in the world to come, He'll still have a new name.

The reason you have troubles is that you're a man and cannot fathom how God can be one Person and three Persons at the same time. It's beyond the scope of your understanding. And that is rightly so. If your God can be explained, he is most likely a man like you.
