It is just exploratory.... Illiterate. It doesn't mean the railway will be constructed

Stop shouting Yoruba land, it's Lagos. I pity other people joining your nonsense. Come and buy land in this lagos... You will hear millions your generation can't afford. Yet you keep shouting yoruba land. This is a good development and commendable, but it belongs to lagos and the people that get the money from it. Even you may never use that corridor because you live in Mushin or Fagba.

Kudos to the govt for this, hopefully they use a high speed rail so travel time might be reduced, especially going from CMS to Ajah or Epe.

Totally Offpoint
Either its about Ogun, Lagos or Oyo, its still God bless Yorubaland.

If 13km took them 14 years to build, how many decades will the 68km project if built last for?

Jonathan was a huge disappointment to we south south. Refineries couldn't work under him, delta steel company at aladja in delta state was still in comatose. Warri port collapsed till now. East west road, he couldn't complete it for good six years.

Best time to take advantage now that Lagos boys are in charge at Abuja. This time will never come again.

However, let Lagos state bear in mind that it's Nigeria's money that's being pumped into Lagos. That has been the case since colonial times.

So, make dem no cry when we say it's "No man's land". We are all contributing.
Re: Lagos Govt, FG Seal Deal To Begin 68km Rail Project Connecting VI, Lekki, Ajah by COMPAQ(m): 2:42pm On Jan 28, 2025
Green line on the Lekki Axis should be viable. Lots of middle and upper middle class families in that area, many of which would not mind taking a train to work in Marina or VI to avoid traffic and save on petrol.

I just pray LASG will ban Danfo on Regional Road. They should restrict them to Lekki - Epe expressway. They are the ones who cause 50% of the traffic on Lagos roads. Let the Regional road from VI to Abraham Adesanya be used strictly by private vehicles and non passenger commercial vehicles. Worst case, any passenger service on that road should be run by proper organized mass transit buses.

I have been saying this for years
Ondo state governors always promised but never delivered.
Imagine the joy if only this current administration can dualise Akure to Araromi and Akure - Owo- Akoko.
Akure to Araromi is just 170KM which is less than 2 hrs drive but right now it’s 4+ journey due to bad road
We need those roads to promote tourism in Ondo state.

IT IS ONLY FAIR, U SHARE LAGOS WITH THE WHOLE NIGERIA JUST AS NIGERDELTA OIL AND GAS IS SHARED WITH EVERYBODY.

CLAIM LAGOS STATE AS YORUBA LEGITIMATE CONTRIBUTION TO THE NIGERIA BROTHERHOOD AND U WILL GET NO OPPOSITION FROM ME OR ANYBODY.

BUT TO COME AND CARRY OUR COLLECTIVE INVESTMENT AS BELONGING TO YORUBA ALONE, MY BROTHER, U ARE ASKING FOR WAR.

IS IT NOT?

SINCE U LOVE ONE NIGERIA MORE THAN EVERYBODY.
