Please what kind of health insurance should you submit after the am? I got my am on Monday and the embassy requested for a incoming health insurance. I submitted yesterday the Dr Walter incoming health insurance, I am scared because I had two insurance Dr Walter incoming and tk health

If you don't have it now, don't bother. They'll request for it after they've decided your AM and it's positive. If you receive an email to submit your health insurance after your interview, congratulations, it's an approval.

For anyone applying for Cat A as a First Grade student. You must show the embassy proof that you are a first grade student. Either by using your transcript that writes "first grade" or by asking your school you graduated from to send you a mail that you are a first grade student. Me I studied in a foreign school with cgpa of 3.2 out of 4(American grade). Which is equivalent or between a second class upper to a first grade upper, so my grade wasn't the highest but because I could get my school to send a email stating that I was a first grade student or high honor student. My Cat A was approved, if not it could have been denied. We give God glory

I think what you’re referring to is the questionnaire. Yes it did ask about scholarship status but didn’t mention anything other than that.

I qualify for category A as a first-class graduate and I cannot see any option to indicate that

Write them email as MissNK suggested with title of submission of missing documents and explain to them you had appointment but couldn't proceed as your certificate was not with u since it was not on the checklist.

Explain your first class blaablaa and upload the documents. They will rebook u.

Congratulations 🎉👏. You have nothing to worry about. The most important thing is that the health insurance must cover your stay in Germany. DR Walters is the default for those using BA. That's what majority have been using

You're a Nigerian, using Nigerian documents. Where else will you get an affidavit if not from a Nigerian court?

My name on my Neco result is written as King,King O- Paul The name on my ND is King King O -Paul, the name on my HND is King O-Paul and the name on my passport , state of origin and O-Paul King King. Please will the German embassy acknowledge the affidavit I did to correct these errors and I even published the change on newspaper. Please if anyone has undergone such the person should answer me pls .. I need to know what to do pls .. thank you.. this platform is great and gives hope on this German movement.

Affidavit should suffice for name discrepancies. I know someone that took affidavit last year for her name discrepancy and was given the visa so it should suffice. You can carry proof of publication on newspaper too…anything to aid your claim.

All you need Is an affidavit for the reconciliation of names. That's all and you'll be good to go

TestAs is a requirement peculiar to courses and schools. Check the requirements of your course from the course website and requested documents on uni-assist. If it's not listed, you have no business with it.

Make a general addidevit with the names on your international passport. It's a declaration that takes a legal backing that the presented names are the most updated ones that should be used legally

Now can I apply for a visa without paying tuition? Mind you All the documents are completely sent, including admission letter, and am to pay the semester fees not later than August. Please answer me If I should pay semester fees before going to the embassy or not.

First of all, you said you are on the waiting list..is it for Cat A or Cat B?
Also where you have to pay for tuition, you will have to show proof of funds for tuition if you’re not paying the tuition before your AD. But if you can pay for the semester fees before going to the embassy, you can carry the proof of payment along with you too…

Yes, the consular portal is for those in Category A.

Cat A includes
If you have a scholarship from a German public fund or
Finished with a 1st class in your bachelor’s not later than 2 years or
And you’re going for a phd program
Anything outside those three puts you in Cat B and the waiting time is about 2 years

The office that approves the letter is the one that’ll give the person the form to fill. The person will have to book an appointment with the Foreigners Authority of where he/she resides in and will also have to go with all the required documents.
Depending on the district it can be done in a day and in some other places, it can take months…

DAAD.de is still the best place to check for schools…you can just filter the tuition fee range. Also the tuition is usually split into three installments from my experience…acceptance, first semester and second semester…but it could be more depending on the school as I’ve heard some schools offer monthly installments.

In my case, I’ve only paid acceptance as my next installment is due for October and i heard we will have to show proof of funds for the tuition at the embassy. So even if you don’t pay, you might have to show that proof…just find a school first and all…

Please if anyone paying for tuition and hasn’t paid in full has done their interview…can we get an update on how it went and what documents were requested?
