I was just wondering if Nigerians can endure tinubu till 2027. Because Since Nigeria current democratic rule his government seems to be this most difficult and harshed administration. Inflation is just everyday with no end in sight. |

Do you have a choice? You endured Buhari for 8 didn't you. As much as I don't like Tinubu he is doing things that even Obi would have struggled to do. |

Keep enjoying your Honda cars stop telling people that a Toyota would have been worse because, YOU HAVEN'T DRIVEN A TOYOTA BEFORE. Please stick to the topic which is clear. |

PresidObi:Listen Buhari destroyed alot of things, he brought people that have know ideas on how to create wealth manage wealth and multiply wealth. He is the worse thing I've ever seen managing a country. All he wanted was enjoy the previledges leadership comes with not make impact on people's lives. Whatever, success Tinubu makes will be undone again when power moves so we need to divide or go back to regional government. Do you know that the Nigerian house in London was actually for the Western region government Nigerians converted to their own property. See how USA is deporting people, need to build our country too so that people like Trump don't insult us. We have the talent, the resources but no leadership. |

PresidObi:Section 146 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) addresses the situation where the President is unable to perform the functions of their office. It states that: If the President dies, resigns, is removed from office, or becomes incapacitated, the Vice President becomes the President. In the event that the Vice President is also unable to serve, the President of the Senate or the Speaker of the House of Representatives would act as President until a new President is elected. |

thesicilian:I have seen the APC supporters trying hard to make this man popular. The truth is, unless you want to rig, which in itself does not make you popular, Tinubu is the most unpopular president we have had in recent times. He won 1/3 like Atiku and Obi, therefore he is running on an unpopular mandate. The supporters can twist it however they wish to but if his government is seen as pain, he may not win 2027 as they think he will because he is incumbent. That's why there is active policy to buy the opposition because if they are weak, he can get into office as the least best but most popular candidate. Tinubu is not as popular as they make him seem. He is good with the media but as someone who has studied Nigerian politics for a long time, people are playing with the old playbook while the voter demography and life in general is changing. I wish Nigeria all the best!

| Re: Can Nigeria Endure Tinubu Two More Years Till 2027? by papyjaypaul: 1:00pm On Jan 29, 2025 |
PresidObi:Short answer is ENDURANCE. Endure the consequences of their decision. Long answer below. What APC coalition did to the masses is what the opposition should be doing now. People can now see that with hindsight, PDP was bad but not as terrible as APC convinced people to see them. We can see it with the tribalism and economy. We can see it with terrorism and insecurity. It is easier to criticise from the outside but if there is momentum, he will be ousted the same way the man himself organized people to take Jonathan out. The irony is that he may suffer the same fate as Jonathan too, even if he does well in office. That's the crazy thing about politics. Alliances that will give the masses an option. Some people are also just there to scheme things. Revenge and sabotage. After all, PDP governors sabotaged their party, which is what gave APC an inroad. To APC, they don't want that kind of alliance as they have been in opposition before. They know what that means. The other option they have is to buy the masses by impoverishing them so they can be enslaved to them. What else can they use to divide the people that can work again? Religion? Tribe? People can now feel the reality of the propaganda. If Atiku makes a move to leave that stage and fund a candidate, Tinubu is in serious trouble. His ambition i.e. Atiku has affected that party which is the only one that can kick APC out. However, what Obi did with LP, in a limited time also shows that Nigerians are ready to vote anyone they believe in and that is also a threat to the establishment because it's not about party politics anymore. This is the reason why they actively attack the Obidients, thinking they are the new opposition. A jackpot will be hit close to 2027, something they did not plan for. ![]() Obidients was EndSars 2.0 and by 2027, another group of young people will be 18 and they can vote. The thing with this young generation is that they can see through the BS and can't be easily influenced the old school way of using traditional media, analysts, influencers and more. Times have changed. A sentiment will come up around 2026 to 2027 that this government will not know how to convince the public otherwise, even if they are in power. That has happened to Jonathan and in many states in this country. By 12 years of PDP, people were already tired. Yar Adua's death helped them get another 4 years which was the nail that hit the coffin. |

Except an act of God, yes. Nigerians must learn to vote right and hold political office holders accountable for both thier campaign promises and actions while in office. |

There's nothing stopping Osinbajo or Obi or any other Southerner from contesting 2027 so saying Tinubu's second term is assured inspite of his incompetence and unpopularity is looking in one direction. Those who look in one direction have their neck stiff in that direction ![]() helinues: |

thesicilian:I am not ready to argue. The results are there for you to see. If the owner of Lagos could not own Lagos, what are you on? Buhari thought he was popular and that is why he lost since 2003. APC showed him what partnership could do. Popularity in the North is not popularity in Nigeria. Tinubu did not win the Presidency with a popular vote and I don't need to support or not support him for that statement of fact. 1/3 cannot even impeach a governor or president, so how do adults see facts but just want to argue like kids? Add Atiku and Obi's votes = 13 million while Tinubu had 8 million. Is 8 million out of 24 million voters popular? Keep arguing with the numbers.

APC ( Tinubu and Buhari) reduced Africa's largest economy to 4th on the continent. And they are just starting. Nigeria will be 10th by the time Jagaban is done. |
