wow useless people. We’re they trying to get you to terminate a black baby ? Racism ?
Maybe, even though the child is mixed raced, his mother is white british.

I think it may be because they thought his mother is too old to have a baby, they even asked if the baby was concieved through IVF. I laughed grin grin and said, i am a black man! Black men can get any woman who has a womb pregnant.

I don't know why they thought she is too old. I have kids with even younger women. I also have kids with black women.

Go Fund Me, for what exactly? What about her husband and savings?
What if she’s not married? What if she had planned on exclusive breastfeeding, and now her family has to buy baby formula from 0-12 months, maybe hire a caregiver too, and also plan for her burial? I imagine it costs a lot of money to bury a loved one in the UK.

And yes, there are good people who simply want to help. How do I know? I lost my wife in a similar manner nine months ago, and to this day, I still have people sending tokens of support for the babies. I never imagined a time would come when such support systems would make such a difference, but now I see how helpful they are. In the first few days or weeks, the expenses come back to back - paying to honor the lost one and also paying to keep the baby alive.

In the midst of this, the trauma can shatter her 'husband' s' ability to work for weeks and even months, and unless he has substantial savings, like a truly significant amount, along with a strong support system, a bad situation can only get worse. Over time, he may also have to always pay to get someone to show 'motherly' love to his baby. It can be that bad.

So what? I am also a single father to 6 kids. Difference is, my baby Mamas are not dead. If her husband is a single father he should go claim benefit for himself and the newborn.

If we start go funding him now, when will we stop? How much do ya think we can go fund him for till the child is 18 years old?
You got yourself into that situation, the difference here is that he has lost his wife undecided

And I'm sure the expenses are going towards the funeral

Yes, you are right i got myself into my situation, however, i am not complaining. Besides, you mentioned single father..

As i said before, the council can conduct the funeral for free. As long as they paid, or still paying taxes in England.

Who says? I don't remember the pregnancy attracting lots of doctors. Anyway, we didn't listen to their (doctors) rubbish, they adviced her to terminate, they told us the child may not make it, they told us the mother may not survive too, they told us the baby could be down syndrome, they told us the baby is growing outside her womb, They told us all kinda rubbish. they told us because the child is mixed raced, he could be born with defect

Well... That child is 13 years old now, living life healthy and well..
- I don't know what you're ranting about with your anecdotal experience. A woman at an advanced maternal age can still give birth to a healthy baby. Just learn and jog on, and stop ranting. No one in a faceless forum cares about your family history. Lol

Don't mind them, unless they are entitled to benefits. Even so, to bury a dead person in the UK wouldn't cost much to the extent of "go fund him" dem just wan scam people!

Aparently the go fund is for the man because he is a "single father" now, i have been a single father since i turned 19 years old

These people have a medical system over there they must adhere to. Nigerian doctors are as good as their foreign counterparts.

I was treated by a Nigerian doctor who moved here from the UK and it was one of the best medical services I received in my entire life. Let's desist from bringing down or looking down on our own.

Nothing in the article remotely connects the death of the woman with a Nigerian and we in a hurry to bring down our own.

Who ever you are I see your emotion in your write up however for all you have listed, the Government here in the UK has a fix, they have prepared themselves for stuff like these for more than 50 years ago, hence people in the west always say that 99% of the prayer point of those in Africa is answered or already being provided for by the Government, hence our prayer point in the Uk and that of those in Nigeria are way way different. For milk, there are tokens, for accommodation there are council housing, for work there is benefit, health don't let me go there, There is almost no hospital bills to pay. If family back home no add their problems to that of the man he can steadily live on benefit until the kid can go to school. There is more but let me stop here.
