Actually the problem we have are the type of people we elected into the system.
If our politicians can prioritize maintenance of public facilities the way they prioritize elections I don't think we will have maintenance problem in this country.
Sure!

They will wail at this news. The savage criminal tribe from the east don't have this level of development in their dot 5 plots zone. Awon oloriburuku. Their zone is backward hellhole and shit hole. Simple
Lol. All they have are skits-makers for leaders, officially and unofficially, in Ekpa and the likes of Abaribe.

Ekpa, the adult who plays with game of thrones plastic sword, is dashing himself and his genocidal associate grand titles and even controlling when Igbos pee or eat. Whereas those officially given the mandate of the electorate to lead, showing gross cowardice and dereliction of duty, are wearing 'Dot Nation' t-shirt while hiding from Kanu, Ekpa, Nworu etal.

If these people have shame, should they even show face anywhere online?

Commissioning an uncompleted project.

Don't mind the bitter creatures of hate cursed with the most worthless politicians on Earth yet the descendants of Kaduna Nzeogwu are obsessed with attacking the leaders of others always.

Look at the childish frivolity of donning a 'Dot nation' t-shirt the loafer Abaribe is engaging in, as the best his constituency can get from him after a hundred years in the Senate, whereas Gbajabiamila had commissioned so many projects the IPOB lot had to be asking where he got the money.

Those people are a joke.
Funny enough the descendants of Kaduna Nzeogwu are Niger Deltans so you no get talk.

My brother till 4040 no igbo state will erect anything close to this, we can all collectively admit that the entire igbo state in Nigeria are doomed beyond eternity.

The buildings looks like a market stall. Sanwo can do better.
Akhaz024:
Exactly, Even though this is recommendable but atleast more modern with an attractive look not block of flat all the time.
Ppogbae:
The edifice could at least be a bit more modern. Not extravagant but modern and up to date. These look like cheap hostels.

This isn't anything to praise.

Same thing I just said to another hateful joker in the category of those who only exist to beef those they hate.

The only people useful to a very troubled Nigeria today are those able to note, applaud and support what is progressive and developmental for Nigeria regardless of who is delivering such.

Those Nigerians are showing that they have great minds.
Some fellows on this forum make it difficult to interact decently and share knowledge.

I believe that the project would be of immense benefit to citizens around Amuwo, Ojo and Badagry. A friend of mine was sick with intestinal twist six years ago around Okokomaiko. Because the little private clinic could not carry out the surgery, he was given an option to be referred to either Badagry General Hospital or Igando General Hospital. Thinking that Badagry would be better, his family chose it and he was taken there. Sadly, the hospital could not do admit him and he lost his life. Igando General Hospital is far better than Badagry General Hospital. With such a project located in Ojo, citizens would benefit from it and surely lives would be saved.

Rather than look at the advantage of such a project, the fellow was looking at the negative side. A quick investigation of the fellow would expose him as a crook, while he is quick to label others looters.

For me, political leadership must be used as a tool to build infrastructures and make societies and citizens lives better. If we have leaders of such manner that do what we want, irrespective of political parties and affiliations, we must support them.

YOU are cursed with your stupid, imbecilic comment.

Who told you we “want Nigeria to be like Dubai”?

Make your dirty village habitable before asking the ‘black race’ to build you Dubai.

Idiot with no sense.

Not a single care about the thousands of lives that will be saved in the new facility.

It’s all about image, appearance, and how “grand” it must look, in your shallow mind, even if the costs quadruples.
Never have I seen such a cursed tribe like them before these are people where in their state not even a new Government hospital have been built since the advent of democracy
in 1998 the only ones that can be pin pointed are the few built during the military era even their senators like Abaribe and Ekweremadu don't function in their states at all, they only embezzle their constituency projects fee yet they have mouth to condemn other state Governors and senators that are their betters.

If their state have better hospital edifice like Dubai they won't have being trooping to Lagos useless cursed children who can only remove the specs in other people's eyes but can't remove the logs in theirs.

Lagos needs to reintroduce tree planting and florals landscaping all over the mainland of the city. The mainland is too dirty and dusty, lush plants everywhere will exhume dust and beautify areas.

Don't mind them. Imagine people running around naked, because they cannot afford Ankara that cost 1k per yard, yet mocking others for wearing 2024 Bottega Veneta shirt in 2025?

They are insufferably irritating. Their negatively obsessive and malevolent focus on Yorubas and the SW is nauseating. Yet their five plot of land is a desolate hell their people are fleeing daily in thousands.

Mainland will be hard to regenerate. Urban regeneration and gentrification will be difficult to achieve there because of how badly things Had been allowed to deteriorate and the huge consequent cost, in today's money, to address and reverse the rot.

Indeed. That is how most progressive and evolved minds view issues also. They can put personal differences aside, be they ethnic, religious and sectional, to support what is best for Nigerians and society at large.

I agree but it’s doable, it might take another decade to achieve o, but if they start to make the changes now, they can turn things around for the better.

The bolded is true. Urban regeneration can move from area to area over time and total overhaul can probably be achieved in around two decades. Will be very expensive but the reward will be massive socio-economically.
