This is 1936 happening all over again and people aren't learning from history.
It starts with the nazis calling the poles, Jews and other minorities as immigrant taking their jobs, then they start deporting, but when it seems deporting is slow and no surrounding nation is willing to take in foreigners, they created the ghetto where they decamp the illegals to, providing jobs and all that, but what happen when the ghetto start getting filled up with an increasing deviant delinquent behavior? They brought in higher policing with the Gustapo to moderate civic order. But as the population start swelling to an uncontrollable amount, they make it a concentration camp, and with population control comes extermination of the disables, children, blacks, people deem unfit to work hard for the war efforts. The premise is that they are bad, unfit and most charged wrongly for crimes they never did.

With this millions perish, even the right thinking German might not have imagined this scenery, I doubt Hitler saw this envisioning to such extent when he started his great deportation campaign.

Firstgeneration is a lawyer, she might be very busy and for some years she ain't that active on the forum.

Fernandezisback is on nairaland, not active but she has an alternate moniker..

The problem with nigerians is that we take things for granted, fine the immigration law enforcement was virtually zero under Biden,but some of us still did the needful, many people refused to re-apply for their visas extensions some kept procrastinating the exercise...

For some of us who came on temporary visa(student) visas before the end of our program we had started aggressively applying for jobs...we already had offers. all we had to do was wait till we graduated and make the switch.
So we made the switch from the student visa to a Standard H-1B work visas.. and when you work for a reputable organisation its very easy to renew your work visas..
