The claim of southeast being landlocked has been bursted severally here. Several rivers empties into the Ocean from southeast including Azumini in Abia which is actually closer to the Atlantic than many parts of Rivers

Note that the southeast is different from Igboland. Ever since we publicised the Igboness of Opobo, Bonny and many Igbo speaking area that live at the ocean shore in Rivers state, they slowed down the claims that Igboland is landlocked.

Nigerians are funny you know and that is giving Reno the little relevance he is enjoying.

Seaport are rarely built by coast due to Ocean currents. They are usually built on inland waterways close to the coast.

Lagos Sea port is not by the coast, it is even behind Tarkwa bay

Onne port is not where near the coast.

Portharcourt wharf is not by the Sea.

All are inland. What matter is not if you have a coastline, but if you have waterways that are close to the coastline. The South East is so close the the coastline and has many waterways leading to the coast. The proposed Abia State port at Azumini is even closer to the Ocean than Portharcourt Wharf. The prosed port at Oguta in Imo is very close to the Ocean. Onitsha port wll one be fully operational, God willing.

Anyone who thinks the South-East is landlocked is someone who has never seen a map of Nigerian waterways, particularly the many that run from the South east to the ocean

You are landlocked. For you to get to the sea, you need to pass through the SS. That's why you beggars always say SE SS because you want to steal access to the sea.

If the South South denies you access to their territory, you will never get access to the little rivers in the East.
