Just prioritize your mental health above any other thing. Nothing else determines your personal joy than you. If Nigeria will make you feel better relocate and restart your life. Ignore every other life. Life is beautiful... Coldie: |

But why are people like this Someone said he wants to come back... He will rather do visits, vacation than stay in UK... You people are projecting your poverty mentality in escaping Nigeria tó other countries on him or her... I know people who have relocated and have come back to stay back in Nigeria and are pulling through... No complaints If you want to leave the country then leave... Not everyone sees it as a do or die affair... At OP please do what suits you... Put yourself first... Come back and be happy |

geosegun:Right, so if it is not about money, why is he asking how much would he need to re locate himself back? And why would he need 2 houses or land and few other stuff that would bring him money? And if he has money already as you assumed. What is he waiting for? He should have gone back to Naigeeria yesterday. Instead of asking us today. People do not need 2 houses or land to have peace of mind. He should just go back to Naigeria and have his peace of mind on an empty pocket |

Coldie:Yes, it do happen. You’ve seen it all and after all the efforts, hustling and all that; there won’t be much zeal again to continue with the stress and need to return back home. I have other people that have done the same thing and some others that are considering it. I have helped and still helping some in buying their choice house in their prefer locations, Lagos Island mostly. Should in case you’re looking to buy your dream home back in Nigeria if you’re yet to do so. I will be willing to work with you in achieving that and I can assure you of beautiful offers that will suit your preference. I wish you the best. |

OlawaleBammie:I wonder why you'd be so sure what I'd say if he lived in Nigeria. Is your superpower mind reading? I've lived in Nigeria and never ever felt Nigeria killed me before my time, though truth it, it has and it does. Yet read op, "the system has totally swallowed me, I feel very depressed and I want to leave permanently", and he's not talking about Nigeria. Life is struggle wherever you are, least to move from where you don't like to where you survive. But more important is me controling the things I can control instead of leaving my destiny to a massive huge country that at best doesn't know I exist, and that's if it knows anything or even has a mind to know things with. I can't move Nigeria, but I sure can move my ass.

Mental health is very important. If you have to come back briefly, you can do that just to test the waters and decide if you want to relocate permanently. One thing I know for certain is that the family support system is much better in Nigeria here and your depressive symptoms will improve within 2-3 months. |

Before u return, do comprehensive medical checkup, check all ur organs, check all d parts and nuts and bolts in ur body and system, ur greatest fear should not be how to make money, or what to eat. Ur greatest fear is how to fund healthcare incase any of ur organs shutdown or u have any major sickness |

SeriouslySense:It’s not about vitamin D. It’s about the system. If you build a house in Nigeria in a government allocated plot, nothing can make you lose it forever. That’s not same in the West. Talk about water, light and basics yo get along, you can find it with very little. You have a community you can count on in worst scenario, even if it’s your family members. There are free accommodation and farm lands in villages that you can relocate too. The west will make you to keep running forever. |

CoronaVirusPro:Go tell that bollocks to the thousands of people who have lost their homes in only the last couple of weeks. They too built their houses on Government-allocated plots and had proof of this only to have the current government that those documents, some of them over 40 years certified are no longer acceptable. Tell that story to the many thousands more, foreigners living in Nigeria included, who lost their homes to government-deployed land grabbers who equally accused them out of thing air of not having good enough documents. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 2. Water where most Nigerians have no real access to clean drinking water, let alone light? Oi very! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 |

Namaster:Tell him ooo brother. Most of them that complain about Europe and US haven't sat down to actually compare and contrast. I lived in Nigeria for 35 yrs before relocating I am sure devil himself has left nigeria becasue how messed it is. Nigerian politicians are the ones that replaced devil himself. I told some people the other day that a homeless druggie on the street of America/Europe has more chance of being successful than a masters degree holder in nigeria. Don't worry, you dont give him the best advice, if e sure for him, let him return to Nigeria, at most 6 months he go run back to the UK |

Kobojunkie:The government will compensate you if you have valid documents. If Davido should give you his house, nothing can take it away from you. But if Jay Z should do same, you won’t last 5 years before you lose it. You will never meet up. People have borehole and never will have to pay for water. Can you do that in the West? Yes, but you will have to go to a dead end living with rattle snakes. People farm in their backyard and rare animals for consumption in Nigeria just to subsidize their needs, can you do same in the West without council or county officials serving you notice. People live a more balanced life in Nigeria than the west. They might not have all rosy, but they have a more balanced life. |

I have lived both lives uk life and Nigerian life and I can tell you , anytime any day I will choose the Nigerian one Not every thing is about money , if the UK was so good like everyone says it is how come only 73 million people live there out of all the 6 billion people that live on this planet Shebi it’s heaven on earth now . I can categorically tell you that there is nothing to write home about in this UK. If you belong to the group that is always quick to convert pounds to naira, don’t worry today is not your day I will unleash Hell on you Now back to the main topic , firstly I know at least 5 people who silently relocated back to Nigeria within the last 5 years . The whole UK system is a trap a very big trap , and I think it was deliberately designed like that after all it’s a socialist state. Again to the good roads, good schools , good hospitals , I just laugh cos today is not your day , I will focus on the most important discussion of the day Op if you are depressed , it’s better to reenergise yourself and move back where your joy is I hate it when people think it’s better to clean and old white mans ass that fellow British citizens will never do because £1 is 2,000 Naira Meanwhile the same people if they told them some people sell thier bodies or their are girls that go to Dubai to eat shiitttt and get paid thousands of dollars they will all of a sudden be forming moral police Yea there is dignity in labour but what’s the point of quitting your banking job just to go and apply for care visa that the British’s citizens refused to do Why can’t the children of the British people who are pooing on themselves go and clean themselves Why is it immigrants from other middle class countries you are tricking to come and clean your own mess because someone has already done calculation in his head that it’s £13 a hour to clean bum and he will be a millionaire in 2 weeks …. I laugh Life is too short and is to be lived , Also the uk is an island , it’s congested , it’s small , it’s cold , the weather is land was never for people black skin EVERYBODY cannot be here , this is why I love the Chinese so much , they come to UK to study and they are the first to return and use what they studied to help CHINA See how China copied US technology on openAi, There are lots of countries in the world with beautiful scenery weather people jobs than the UK. Now back to my advice if your mind is made up , let me share you a secret of what helped me Firstly Nigeria is going through a storm at the moment , which is linked to the exchange rate , the last time the storm happened was in 1983 thereabouts too The exchange rate is just about stabilising now but this doesn’t mean the economy is buoyant This is what I did that worked for me Google what’s called Maslow hierarchy of needs It’s a chart that tells you what humans need for survival and what else they need after that So when I moved to Nigeria I figured out the first thing I would need is FOOD, cos without that my life is in danger . So instead of me spending all the money I had saved in the uk on food , here is what I done instead I found a shed in the apartment I lived and reared broiler chickens 30 at a time , the chickens take 6 weeks to mature , I SOLVED THE FOOD problem and I continuously grew the business and sold extra chickens to others for a profit . On the next list on Maslow hierarchy of needs , I found that I needed a car to move around in Nigeria , so instead of me buying a car and be driving around aimlessly , what I did that worked for me was BUY A BIKE and give it to someone on hire purchase and be bringing weekly income Whenever I wanted to move around I would call the same bike man to Carry me Next on the list of Maslow hierarchy of needs SHELTER , there was no way round this so I had to rent my own place although rent in Nigeria is very very cheap Next on the list FOOD part 2, I noticed my chicken business was giving me small money so I decided to open a road side mama put eatery a low budget one Again for my next business idea , I got to Maslow hierarchy of needs table and use what humans need the MOST AND WANT THESE ARE THE BUSINESSES THAT HAVE guaranteed PATRONAGE in Nigeria at the moment All these things are things that worked for me Sometimes in Nigeria the most boring and the most RAZZ and the most unpleasant job can get you BIG money Also there is photocopying business , banner printing etc Just make sure you don’t hit more than you can chew And avoid businesses that involve generator or heavy machinery because remember it’s way money you want Then after you can still go into Commercial chicken feed making , CATFISH farming BEE MAKING Un usual weird businesses that would make you UNUSUAL money As time goes on the King of England would give you a FREE UK passport , you will reject it cos you are happy Life is short It’s Bette to be happy than to be sad in this short life And what thing about depression is once you are depressed and your mental health deteoriates It’s very very hard to be a normal person again So why would you risk all Of that because £1 is 2,000 Naira If you were spending the 2,000 Naira there then I can understand The ones that live in London Are the funniest , it’s house share , house they built for a family with a sitting room and dining , the sitting room and dining has been converted to rooms To shitt you have to wait , to use the kitchen wait , even after cooking you have to go To your room eat it inside . Shebi one pound is 2,000 naira now …😂😂😂 The people I applaud are the British Govt they know how to make things happen without noise , after Covid they knew the uk govt needed free money They they worked and cooked free visas on the premises of school , FREE MONEY that they wouldn’t have made anywhere else they started getting it free Just like the slave trade 400 years ago , England realised it was almost finished so they went to get innocent people and used them as slaves so they can grow sugar cane Plantations to other emerging countries Like every God damn century oyibo people Just have a way of enslaving other races One mumu will comment on this post there are good roads , hospital , schools this that , ode which average country on this planet did you see that they are not good roads or schools Go Argentina or Saudi Arabia or even Cuba and tell Me you will see good roads there Slaves |

CoronaVirusPro:1. Joke of the century! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 2. What the heck does this even mean? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 3. Borehole pumping water up from the same underground water source that the many toilets(including latrines) drain straight down into. No wonder why the mortality rate remains low even in the 21st century. 🤣🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 4. They all farm yet over 35 million are expected to face serious food scarcity this year, if it hasn't already started. 🤣🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 5. More balanced life in a country where absolutely none of the 774 LGAs can boast of even pipe-borne water, robust health/mental care system, a library network, or even anything close to an acceptable school system at both the grade school and college levels. 🤣🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Oh, boy! This was hilarious! 🤣🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 |

You said you are tired and depressed and feel like coming back to Nigeria. That's a great idea but before you do. Check yourself and calculate how much you have and intend to bring to Nigeria to start a new life. Definitely you will need to buy a house first when you return. Then find a good productive business to do . You really need to be very prudent and careful with your money cos people ain't smiling in Nigeria. |

Kobojunkie:Is waste water not recycled in the West? Oh! I need to tell you that. At least they have a second option to fall back to when times are hard. Can you do that in the west? You cannot even get good food. Everything labeled organic is GMO They can boast of water and you still have successful people making it big in the country. Where are they getting their water from? People in the West drink what the government gives them. Yes, Nigerians live a more balanced life. Few things keep you on your toes in Nigeria. If you are successful you hold a house, half of your problem is solved. Does owning a house in the west make solve anything? No. As a matter of fact, it’s an additional debt that will make you run faster. Talk about education, people go to school here without owing, unlike the west where you initiated into debt at a very young age that you will have to pay for half of your life span. How many Nigerians in the west can outright send their kids on full payment to the university. Ignore the American movies and sweet talks. Having worked in 3 continents across the globe. I know what I am talking about. |
