I didn't.... but since you ask.... I'll propose a military coup. Yes we had that before .... And it didn't work ( same in Ghana and same in Burkina Faso). The political class needs to go and this can only be done via a coup. Our politicians are too corrupt ... too greedy .... are not interested in the development of the country and absolutely do not care about the plight of the citizens. Regardless of which Party is in power ... the country does not move forward period. We need to get rid of the leeches and this can only be done by a military coup ... hopefully we get it right this time (,,like Ghana with Rawlings and presently Burkina Faso with Traore). if we continue with democracy...and a "good man" is elected President ... he cannot stop the rot ... his hands will be tied by the system. We need our Rawlings or Traore to step up.
Two of the presidents in the first 24 years of return to democracy were recycled military dictators who did 16 years.
Why would you forego the democratic space for you to make an input into how your local, state and federal governments are run to be replaced by unaccountable soldiers?

Is it just hopelessness or helplessnesshuh

Fair comment and question. Don't forget I said we need our Rawlings or Traore. Did either of the two ex military leaders take the bull by the horns like Rawlings or Traore? I'm not just talking title ... it's about title and action.

We have been in the democratic space for yearssss ....and have been making inputs .at the State and Federal levels ... but do we ever get the desired output? We don't ...the reason we are where we are today ...and in the foreseeable future if we continue on this same highway to debt and despair. Again ... it's about title and action ... I'm not proposing unaccountable soldiers to stage a coup.

Is it your view that we continue along the present highway of Democracy? ... mine is to make a detour.

I'm a civilian ... I bear no arms nor have scores of trained arm bearers to support me in executing a coup.

I'm really disappointed with your response ... would've been better to not respond.

I am disappointed that you don't recognise your inability to work for what you want by any and every means necessary.

There are revolutionaries who were never in the national army. Find out and be inspired by them if you are not just atalkative who wants others to work for your desires and dash you the proceeds of their sweat as well as the risk of being tried and executed for treason.

I always work for what I want. Being President or to hold political office is not nor ever been a destination for me. I'm lost in your reasoning. I guess if one wants the price of petrol to drop you'll advise him to go refine his own cheap petrol instead of waiting for someone else to sweat and risk his money to do so

Even a thief has a voice.

Sharia mongers won't see this one... because Sharia is only for the poor.

THE GOVERNORS ARE EQUI CO-TRAVELLERS IN THE NIGERIAN SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL DEMOCRACY. BY IMPLICATION, THE GOVERNORS ARE FIRST LINE MINISTERS IN THE NIGERIAN REPUBLIC. THE PRESIDENT IS THE PRIME MINISTER.
