When those things they have in common include Stealing, Murder, fraud etc, then you can agree its common logical thought rather than any ideaology.
Easily disprovable.

So you a non Muslim is in support of a law for Muslims, which no Muslim on here has supported, Thank You, but no Thanks, we don't want.
GloriousGbola:
yes. and shariah courts have existed in the north for years as well

for arbritation of domestic matters. marriage, etc

what has changed is that zamfara and northern states introduced PENAL shariah. and they kicked it off with amputation and almost stoning a woman to death. if you had run your mouth in a bus up north they would have burnt your skinny arse and just as in the case of Deborah, nothing would have happened
According to TheNiceGuy..
Historical Presence of Shari’ah in Yorubaland
Contrary to what some claim, Shari’ah is not foreign to Yorubaland. Before the colonial era, many Yoruba Muslim communities practiced Islamic law to settle disputes, particularly in personal and family matters such as marriage, inheritance, and business ethics.
Lastly, I don't have to be a Muslim or Christian to know what is legal and stand on justice.

However, the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), led by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, argued that the Sharia panel initiative is legal, as it is provided for in the 1999 Constitution (as amended) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Section 275).

Are you one of their agents?

What assurance can you give about their products and paymentshuh
Well, I have been working with them since last year October, 2024 & its been awesome moments to the glory of God. The only regret I have is that I didn't join early as 2023 January when the company entered Nigeria.

Anyways, if you're still not convinced, its up to you. I pray someone very close to you tells you about it & share with you how much of financial freedom this amazing company has brought to him/her, then you will believe but e go pain you say u no join earlier (I can assure you of that 100%)

I withdrew 3 times in the space of Mon 27th - Thursday 30th of this just concluded January
Attached here are the screenshots.

That's roughly 129.63$ in a week, let's say $ is even as low as 1500naira, that means I made #194,445 in a week.... If its now in a month, multiply by 4 = #777,780

The question is how many people in Nigeria earn this as salary per annum not to talk of monthly basis.

Don't forget, I just had to use 1,500 as exchange rate tentatively, dollar is wey wey higher than that.

Do you now see why I said I regretted that I didn't join earlier than I did?

Omo. I don try and fail with German and Spanish. You don give me small inspiration like this to knuckle down. I made some progress with German but stalled a bit

Congratulations. That's no small feat. Picking up a new language as an adult is incredibly difficult. You think you have a grasp on it till you are speaking with a native and you don't hear half the things they are saying

What were your learning tools with Deutsch?
Used a combo of the following:

1. Learning by immersion (listening to random convos on public transport on my way to work, conversations with neighbours that have deliveries to pick up from me)

2. Edutainment (watching Bundesliga/Premier League, HBO/Netflix in German, Podcasts and even Twitter)

3. Formal learning (Night classes twice a week for 2 months, Duolingo for a bit and ultimately discontinued in favour of using Youtube teachers)

Some say mentorship is also a hidden pathway but i consider that more myth than practical as I know too many niqqas that haven’t benefited linguistically from such arrangements

Ultimately its easier to learn when in the environment but I know someone who speaks fluent German and has lived all his life in Anambra

Please how well do you know about flight cancelation?

I booked an airpeace return flight for my dad from Lagos to Abuja on the 28th of January. The departure date for the flight is 7th February and return date is 10th February.

The problem here is that the reason he was going to Abuja isn't important again so I want to cancel it. I've gone through their website to see if I can cancel it, but I couldn't find anything like that on their website. And the numbers I saw isn't going. I sent them an email but they haven't responded. Although they acknowledged my mail through an auto response.

Have you ever encountered such issue before?

i last used air peace in 2021 or 2022. not sure. i had a project in kano. At the time i was often able to reschedule flights. i had never done a cancellation and as a naija matter i know they will likely make it difficult and slap a cancellation fee.

you may have to go to their counter at MMIA with your flight booking and engage an officer directly. I cannot remember if it is the old or the new terminal in the past.

If you can find buyer and sell it off
You can sell to travel agents but at a lesser price because airlines don't do refund

I saw reschedule on their website under manage booking. The thing is his going isn't necessary anymore. So rescheduling isn't the solution. I wouldn't mind them deducting a certain amount as penalty fee from the money.

They can deduct and give me the rest. It's better than loosing the whole money.

As for going to their terminal. Those ones there might not be able to solve my problem unless I go to their main office at Arobiodu (Ikeja GRA) I just thought I could place a call to a customer service agent and they'll direct me on how to go about processing my refund. But the numbers I saw online isn't going.

Lol...I'd prefer selling the ticket biko.

Besides he's not a young person like me that I can say Oya go and chill and come back. Since the reason for going isn't important again, there's no need travel.

Thanks anyways. At least I have an idea of how to go about it.

You will see buyer but I don't know if Go-show still rampant in our country
I would have advised you take the booking number to the airport on the day of the flight, the only downside is they will know you are desperate and price it cheap

But advertise first you might see someone

Provided you sent to the correct email address, they'll respond.
Always better to send from the email you appended when booking your ticket.
I used this number - +234-201-343-8133 - to get in touch with an Air Peace customer care agent this morning.

I'll be surprised if they refuse to process a refund.
But there'll be a hefty cancelation penalty.
Tickets are valid for a year and can be used on other routes.
So it's almost always more financially prudent to reuse at a later date. It's what I do.

The dashboards of our local airlines are bare bones.
You can only pay for and print tickets; maybe check-in. Anything else and you'd have to shoot a mail or place a call.

They don't do refunds. They've responded to my email.

My best bet is to sell the ticket to someone then contact airpeace to change the destination and passenger name.

If I don't find a buyer I'll just keep it since they told me that it's valid for 12 months. Anytime I want to travel to the east I'll use it. That's of course after I've changed the name and destination.

Saw this accident and my heart is heavy.

Also, I have always concluded that the newer models of Toyota buses are poorly designed; These buses do not have windows that open, except the ones at the front.

I have used this type of bus many times, and I have always wondered why a vehicle won't have windows that open.

If probably there were windows that open, ( I am assuming the doors couldn't open) and an accident happened, probably few would have made it out.

May God continue to have mercy on us.

some cars are simply not made with nigeria/third world environments in mind

and this includes the popular sienna with its donut spare tire and no proper storage leaving people to keep the tire in the boot. i seriously considered fabricating a hanger for the sienna so it could carry a full tire

and just like that i have gone on a rabbit hole
