Expect a massive price slash from Dangote anytime soon
Gba be

Baba knows where he is going to.

Leverage Monopoly to milk the profits.

Dangote can probably afford to sell profitably at 600 or even lower.

But why rush down there, when he can go slow.

They want to sell at 922 abi. Baba will shift to 875.....lobatan.

which fake live exactly ??
is it the 24hrs light

Was there a time minimum wage was standard or over

were Nigerians getting optimal health service from govt hospital at lower price or cheap

The cars and houses Nigerians built was it subsidized by govt abi naa govt drop 50% of the funds

My community bought our transformer, i did my gutter, we graded my street contributing, every house in my area fixed there borehole, we provide n pay vigilante every month

Thats the story of an average Nigerian whats the fake life, All my life i cant point one thing govt did for me, even if there is a Fake life naa masses live am or polithiefians
You can't find what government did for you abi? Let me count them for you.

1. Petrol subsidized from when you were born till 2024.
2. Diesel subsidized from when you were born till like 10 years ago.
3. Kerosene subsidized from when you were born till like 10 years ago.
4. Electricity subsidized from when you were born till 2024 (if you are on Band A). If not on Band A, then still subsidized.
5. Education subsidized from date you were born till now
6. Your lifestyle subsidized till you were born till now, because the FG and States do not collect commensurate taxes like other countries, so your parents benefited and if you are working you are also benefiting. Theis abroad you want to be like, go and see what they pay as VAT, Property taxes, Insurance, Personal income tax and more.

All these subsidies wouldn't even be a problem if it was costing us 20% of government revenue, but when you are borrowing for all these DOES IT MAKE SENSE!!!!huh

if YOUR BROTHER IS BORROWING TO SEND HIS KIDS TO A FANCY PRIVATE SCHOOL, ISN'T THAT FAKE LIFE!!!!!huh??

Typical Nigerian situation.

How can imported pms be cheaper than locally refined pms when the raw material is located in the same country?

Like I have always said, subsidy removal is never an end in itself, but a means to an end

The moment apc and bat made removal of subsidy an end in itself, that was when I knew that they did not know what they are doing.

You do not remove subsidies without first sanitising the sector and removing the corruption, bottlenecks and inefficiencies hindering the system, mapping out clear objectives of what is to be achieved by subsidy removal, factor in the socioeconomic impact on the common man and lastly, you must walk the talk, if the people must go through the pain of subsidy removal, political office holders must go through the same thing.
listenin to some of you can give people headaches....no be only dangote dey refine crude in this world....

The way some of you refuse to use your brain to reason logically is alarming.

What then was all the brouhaha and excitement about local refining of crude if it does not translate to relatively affordable and benefit of the masses?

To begin with Fuel subsidy is for Nigeria not me, regardless we still pay

i never used diesel or bought diesel when it was subsidized

in short subsidy on crude .. thats 1

Electricity subsidy is one big scam i will never admit, even as a student i know the kind of crazy bills i paid on my flat then ..as far back as 2009 imagine a student pay 3k, 4k monthly over a 2 bed

Oga i went to private school from primary to secondary, even though i attended a public uni. i dont see what govt subsidized in a poor educational facility.

what nonsense lifestyle, whats your basis for a commensurate tax.

olodo countries that collect high tax provide standard infrastructures, health, water service, security and feasible minimum wage ... which one Nigeria govt score pass mark.

you give poor service you collect poor remittance thats what "commensurate" should be

Subsidizing is a problem but govt expenditure and bogus allowance is never a problem, awa gor !!
when it comes to paying salaries and pension they tell us no money

How come govt as never told us no money to pay there own bogus alllowances, how come they have never gone a budgetary year without buying SUvs, computer, who buys fridge every year

Tinubu govt insist No money, Nigerians should sacrifice, have you seen his govt downsize govt opulence in any way.

if my brother is borrowing Money to send his son to school thats a sound investment, he stands to reap tomorrow But if My brother is borrowing Money, to club, carry olosho and drive fancy cars that is Fake Life and waste

Do you even understand what you are talking about? Or you are just blinded by hate and justify all sorts of nonsense?

What was the essence of local refining if the masses cannot get the benefit of it?

What was all the brouhaha about if scare forex was still going to be wasted on importing What we produce and can sufficiently refine in quantities enough to satisfy the local market?

Why the funfair on working national refineries if they would not be patronised?

The government needs to connect development to objectives...

What is your idea of 'cheap fuel'?

There is no way importing pms would be more beneficial to our present socioeconomic situation than local production.

So again, I ask, what was the whole noise about local production if you suddenly don't care where the pms comes from?

Are the much touted revamped nnpc refineries also refining 'expensive' fuel?

I would rather buy DR fuel than buy cheap, substandard blended fuel, all in the name of saving costs, that will still be spent on car repairs and maintenance.

As if it will reflect on the retail prices. All of them are so greedy. But trust dangote to outsmart them. He may slash his own price any moment sighting international price fluctuations and spoiling some shows for them.

Your government just borrowed $2 billion from AfDB to defend the naira, leading to naira appreciation and price reduction at Dangote.

Take the front seat and watch how competition will bring prices down. Lower cost of goods and services as a result of multiple players is healthy for all. Monopoly in this sector has been shattered. This has nothing to do with borrowing, subsidy, imports or exports.
