Pour it in a blender and add boiling water to it, leave it for about 45 seconds and pulse about 6 times. Pour it into a big bowl, add lots of water and you will see the peels floating. That's the fastest way I know to peel beans.

Remove them. Makes the moi moi taste better.
Couple of methods to remove the black stuff. Quickly blend dry or quickly blend after they've soaked. Can remove a lot relatively quickly.

When you soak the beans for long, they usually come off. Or you don't soak your beans before blending?
