This is a case of armed robbery plain and simple.
So a ritualist would take someone to a hotel he doesn't own or in cahoot with the Hotel management and plan to kill a lady inside the room,take her body parts and leave the Hotel?
Sometimes when you read a Nigerian police report,you get embarassed and wonder if anyone in the Force went through a proper school,talkless of undergoing professional training based on their job designation.
The other puzzling if not dangerous part of this story is this:so the Hotel staff went into the room,saw the girl tied up and in that state and left her like that,went to the police station to report and the police came to meet the girl in that condition?
What if she had choked to death,suffocated or even went into shock out of sheer fear before the police arrived?

I believe the scenario you painted can only happen today if the person is either the owner of the Hotel or is in cahoot with the management.
