This is long overdue! A lot of USAID funds end up in the wrong hands, sometimes even supporting enemies of the U.S. and war criminals. Shutting it down means a fresh start for a more transparent and effective aid program—one that actually helps those in need. If aid is truly necessary, a better system can be created to ensure funds go where they’re supposed to, not wasted on corruption and bad actors.

Actually ,I like China more than USA and I believe a lot of wise Nigerians share the same sentiment because China is more peaceful and share technology with other countries unlike US that cause chaos everywhere and wants to gatekeep technology.

The only debacle to Nigeria relationship with China is distance and language barrier.

It's a front for a lot of bad things though. It's like how yahoobois have a legal business, but behind the scene, their real money is from scam. USAID is the same. But you can only see the front side, which is donation to charity. But it's just a front.

I strongly perceive that the rest of the world will pose strong resistance to the US economic embargo and aid withdrawal.

Let the truth be told. Most of these aids money ends up in the pockets of the politicians in the developing countries. Some of these developing countries have the capacity to develop itself.
Countries like DRC, Nigeria and so many have no reason to ask for aids. Politicians and top government officials steal their countries dry and even steal part of the aids.
