Good evening.
Please how does one recover money from a microfinance bank after it was shut down by NDIC?

My mom had some money in IC global microfinance bank that was shut down by NDIC 2 years ago. Ever since, we’ve been pursuing the case, all to no avail.

Today I called the manager and I pretended I’m a lawyer and I have contacted NDIC on the matter and the money is at his disposal.
He denied the case, that NDIC withheld all their financing and seized their properties. But the truth is the contacts of NDIC online are unreachable so that’s why I couldn’t contact them.

Now I don’t know what to do for my mum. She’s always mentioning that money that is somewhere hanging, that she still dreams that one day somehow, she’ll receive her money.

But right now I’m confused and I don’t know what to do

Obviously,she will get her money back if the assets of the said bank are sold off completely or if another bank decides to take over from them.

Tell ur mum to be hopeful.

Every micro finance account holder is insured to the tune of 2 million Naira by the NDIC ..if the NDIC actually shut the the MFB now two years is enough to have finished validation and payments of deposit insurance claims .

NDIC is her surest wayto get back her money.
