Gary Neville labelled Arsenal defender Gabriel as 'disrespectful' after he was spotted laughing in the face of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in Sunday's 5-1 win. The Gunners went 1-0 up at the Emirates Stadium in only the second minute courtesy of Martin Odegaard's third goal of the season.

After seeing the ball hit the back of City's net, Gabriel gleefully ran up the pitch to celebrate with his team-mates, pausing along the way to mock Haaland. While Arsenal fans revelled in the moment on social media, pundit Gary Neville was less than impressed with the Brazilian's actions. Speaking on The Gary Neville podcast, he said: 'I don't like it. I think it's a bit disrespectful. I know Haaland is the pantomime villain here today but there was something about it I didn't like.

'I was many things, and that [winding others up] was my game, but I never did that. I never went and screamed in a player's face. It made me feel a little bit uneasy.'

If what happened this window doesn't convince most fans that the board and management hasn't changed as much as we thought and that all this signings isn't really all down to Arteta then I don't think anything else can. It was obvious Gabriel and Saliba were trading passes just so we can retain possession and prevent overturning of the ball to city lest they counter us and get back in the game .
