For Messi, he is a great footballer and icon in the sport I respect him alot.

It's good praise oneself for being the best...it shows having confidence in oneself...it shows you are your number 1 motivating factor...just that, it's more honourable and more convincing for another person to rate you as the best... especially those in your profession.

That's why reference is important whenever organisations want to know more about another person..they bank on references...allowing another person that knows you too well to talk in detail about you....Despite all display of skill sets you might have presented by yourself during interview..rating yourself so high, your references plays a key role.

Summarily, you don't need to force this assertion that you are the best on anyone.... people will naturally rate you to be.

If you are doing this by yourself....it means you are not the best.

In the real sense no football player should be adjudged the best or most complete because football is a team effort. Every position(Defence, midfield & attack) has roles each player plays. A player can't really be the best or most complete to play out all these rolls.

But when it comes to football, Lionel Messi is a spirit. The way he dribbles past other players as if he is a ghost, the way he scores without stress, the way he runs like rabbit, all of these makes Messi a football spirit.


I love Ronaldo's dedication and focus to always score goal at every given opportunity, I love his outside 18 yard box shots, he is good but Messi is the best of the best, lets say the truth.

Ronaldo is mechanical messi is organic..is like comparing a plane to a bird. The natural fluidity is there with messi. Non the less i cannot ague against efficiency and precision of r7. Its just staggering. The number speak volume.

In my footballing life i have seen prime suarez, bale, rivaldo, Ronaldinho. But you can only compare one player to messi and thats r7 speak volume of how good he really is. That you can even compare him to messi. People talk about r9 being better than r7. I love r9 cuzs he has flair his dribble and share ability on the ball. But comparing him to r7 is a footballing blasphemy. compare him to Ronaldinho yes. Van basten slightly above. Henry yes above. But r7? No way. Thats a category all by itself. They are class within class . Messi l, r7, pele, maradona
