This $35bn Budget needs to get 3x to 4x bigger to get to atleast $100bn at same exchange rate to have meaningful impact. We’re too many people for such an amount. Of course, governments needs to spend wisely too.

As long as millions of Tinubu supporters are living in poverty, I am happy. No peace for the wicked.

To understand the magnitude of this insane figure, 1 billion is 1m in 1,000 ways.
1 trillion is 1 billion in 1,000 ways.
50 trillion is 1 billion in 50,000 ways.

If you spend 1m a day, it would take you roughly 3½ years to finish 1 billion.
If you spend 1 billion a day, it would take you 3½ years to finish 1 trillion.

Now imagine the magnitude of a 50 trillion naira budget in a country with double digit inflation, crazy unemployment, zero infrastructure, terrible electricity, pervading insecurity everywhere, nonexistent healthcare, impossible education and no tourism.

Yes, one ex Senator from Akwa Ibom state said here last week that the 2025 budget presented by Tinubu was empty. He said that his team doesn't know what they are doing. He said that if the budget is not amended, that Tinubu will have no projects to campaign with or even to commission.
Now Tinubu has put his arrogance aside and listening to the man's suggestions because of reelection.
It is the same way that Nigerians are calling on him to review his policies but he refused to listen because of arrogance.
When we say his one sided team doesn't know what they are doing, they say we are wailling. Imagine presenting and empty budget proposals to the National Assembly.

Me I manage my expectations and just pray that we get people who aside the money issue want to leave their footprints and I know that definitely PBAT falls within this category.

Is budget based on projected revenue or revenue realised?
If the ministry of budget couldn't have seen the additional revenue as at November when budget was prepared, how sure are you that the revenue is additional and not accrued from previous budgets.
