I had same experience in a government hospital in December. The doctor had to wait for his phone app to come up before listening to me and prescribe medication.

AI is the new way to attend to patients now.

I pray we never fall sick to need this social media doctors.

They probably deceived the owner of the hospital and claimed they could do a CS when they could not. If you can do a CS, a private hospital will pay you more compared to a doctor that cannot

When you're just starting and even after many years as a doctor, you don't have all the doses of medications in your head automatically. It is legal and we can consult the book once in a while so as not to make a mistake when prescribing drugs.

Alternatively, we confirm the dosage from other colleagues in the same clinic.

So you carry someone to hospital and you will first of all start asking the name of doctors. The nurses arrested will be the ones to provide that not the person that took his wife.

But my problem about this birth stuff is why people allow their wife to be at home to the last minute of labour before rushing to hospital. That is why you see some people giving birth on the road or in different unexpected places.

If you are doing the normal check up called artinatal (not sure of the spelling) you know when your wife should be due for delivery and within that time you observe certain pains in her that's different just take her to hospital and she could be there even if it two or three days before delivery because they will take care of her properly knowing the baby is about to come. This last minute thing should be avoided honestly.

We were horrified and could not talk much. When we returned the next day with the results of the tests, we met a much experienced male Doctor, who was a consultant. We registered our complain and the man apologized. He knew the female Doctor and said that it would be looked into. He prescribed other tests and gave his own treatment plan, which was effective.

Irresponsible people like you have created imaginary boundaries in your hearts, calling Nigeria one when it is time to elect your preferred candidates and using tribal/religious words when you choose to cause confusion. Fortunately you are the only confused people.

The minister of woman affairs and Nigeria medical association should take up the issue immediately and ensured that this so called Doctors are prosecuted to the letter.

Most of the hospitals in the rural and satellite town in the cities need to be well monitored and recertificated.
