watching taye growing up in community primary school in isheri olofin was nostalgic. That was the real deal. Pure raw talent, igo as he is populary called by his team mate.

Doubt if there is any Nigeria player of late to move from Nigeria league straight to any top 5 league and as a starter. Taye Taiwo from Lobi Stars to Marseille showed his quality

He actually started with Gabros and then moved to Lobi stars. Those were serious teams and players took their jobs very seriously. Football has become so competitive worldwide and the benchmark for recruiting players has gone higher.

I think very good Nigerian players are affected by greedy coaches and scouts. These horrible sets of people actually hand over opportunities to those who are able to pay them the amounts demanded.

God gave Osimhen the opportunity through Emmanuel Amuneke. The great players on the streets and small clubs have not been found. I think that’s the reason for having players who cannot meet up with standards in the big leagues in Europe.

Taye Taiwo just like some of our great left backs, plated with his heart. A great ball player and a good person out of the football pitch. Congratulations to him on the great honor.

Our left back had some great players like Yisa Shofoluwe (defence minister), Bright Omokaro (Ten Ten), Elderson Echiejile, Ifeanyi Udeze, Ben Iroha and the impeccable Celestine Babayaro (he played for Chelsea). These players were delightful watching.
