People are simply who they are. Remove color and race out of it. Have you worked with Lebanese and other foreigners in Nigeria? What you described is the same. They push you in Nigeria the same way they’ll push you in the UK and it’s for their Lebanese or Chinese bosses.

If you’ve worked in a Nigerian bank or other private multinational, even some government organizations, Nigerian bosses push you to the extreme to satisfy their Nigerian bosses as well. I don’t want to mention specific names but it’s the same thing.

So remove color or race out of it, that’s who she is, she’s in a place where she feels valued and wants to contribute her best to making the place “perfect”. She’ll do the same thing if she were a director in a bank in Nigeria aspiring to be MD/CEO

Ok. I think we are having a little bit of a comprehension issue going on here. Is there anything part of my write-up that is remotely suggestive of me asking for explanations from Kemi?
The only comprehension issue we have is that of yours which is heightened by delusions of grandeur. She is the leader of the most successful political party in that country and could be PM and stands a fair chance of winning. She has to appeal to her base of which you and other nigerians are not one. Your treatise from lagos to kontangora no consine her. grin

My context is not Nigeria, but immigrants who are bosses abroad.

It means non-whites in a leadership position outside of their countries.

You are still sounding angry like someone with a dady's issue.

My opinion and observations still stands or you expect people not make observations?

What's your deal?

Nnamdipapa:
Thanks for pointing that out. On the minds of most white voters, she is the one and same as other black immigrants as long as she has the skin. Even Obama with a white mother still got similar treatments in the US.

Conservative Party will never win a majority seat in the UK as long as Kemi remains the leader. Her constituents do not have the power to make her a PM.
I think you presume too much. Her party is the oldest and most successful in the country if not in the world. They believe in her and voted her in to lead them despite being 99% white. Face your country.

Yeah I get it, but I’m saying she’ll do the same thing anywhere in the world not just because of a “white boss”

People are simply who they are

You have your right to make observations but we reserve our right to make counter observations. Dont know about 'Dady issue'.

You are attacking me with your "counter observations". Like I have no rights to my observations. That is the issue and, I am gradually getting angry, at 30% on my anger meter right now.

Thank you. I thought I was the only one observing this trend. It was even worse when I had an Egyptian as a boss.
With the whites, I was given four months off work with pay just to reduce my stress level.
Well well. Cry all you want, she will not be giving four month of pay for stress.

Na, I took those time off to build my company and nothing to do with stress. I later resigned after that. It was in the company's policy for short term disabilities so, no was a black boss would have blocked me.

Relax Biaframan.
Which Nigerians are doing better than one of the most powerful women in the western world today?

For those that don't understand her, you will never understand anything. She is doing what are constituency wants. We should focus on how our country country will be better than London. Right now people are tired of seeing people that don't have same way of thinking as them, I'm like them, tired of seeing Fulani people destroy my community. Again we should be ashamed that she is becoming something she couldn't be in her father land, I know some of you don't I do its embarrassing. She is married to a British, so I don't know why we get angry at her.
Have you ever lived for a second of your life outside Nigeria?

Technically, I was stressed out, the company was also trying to cheat me by insisting employees declared other business activities.
I was passing through some mental hiccups at the time and needed those time off.

Will he be loved back by the same society as equal? I will not give love If I don't get same in return. My daughter was repeatedly racially bullied by her classmates who are whites during her junior high, these people were shielded by the teachers who did nothing about it.
I have learned an lot my dear friend.

I insist my children visit Nigeria regularly to help build up their self-esteem. when your kids are bullied which is a sad thing, it is pertinent upon us as parents to stand up for them in a rationale way. Sorry about the challenges your kids are facing but you should stand for them. You are all they have.

I did not realize on time. She opened up when she was ending grade 12. She left Nigeria when she was 4. I am hoping to have her integrated into Nigeria to mis-up and, increase her esteem.

The issue of Kemi has nothing to do with Nigeria. Her allegiance is to Britain, not Nigeria. Her job is not to please Nigeria, it is to please Britain and win elections for party. Any other thing is irrelevant

That was my mistake. I will be looking into buying a house this year and want my kids to integrate fully into the Nigerian society.
I will be mostly living in Nigeria after my kid is done high school this July. Imagine the past 10 years, I can count the number of school friends who visited my kids at home. Almost non-existent, reason I took the time off to get my business going so, I can run from anywhere in the world.

I have lots of siblings in Nigeria who I miss dearly.

Thanks. Sometimes you are too busy with work and our mentalities are different, I was raised in a generation where you do most things yourself with little involvement from the parents. Kids nowadays have to be carefully monitored and supervised.
