I Am yet to understand why there is high rise of skin bleaching between men and women in Nigeria.

Is it that they feel that they will look beautiful or handsome if they are fairer or what?

I always hear Nigerians say black is beautiful, but we stilll don't appreciate it on real life. undecided

To see black slay queen now is scarce.

The worse is men that supposed to concentrate on their hustle now concentrates more on their skin color.
Low Self-esteem.

They are creating their own happiness in a very stupid way.

Will the Sun even allow Nigerians to bleach?

That first picture is not bleaching because the body, hands and face weren't affected.
May be it is vitiligo?

Most Nigerians have made it seem like being fair is beautiful

And getting bleaching creams is very easy

So

Everyone is bleaching themselves out 😄
Funny thing is, it is hard to escape it cos most of the good soaps or creams out there have 'brightening' written on it. If you use them over time you'll notice a change in your skin tone. But those idiots going for whitening are just stack idiots or illiterates. Personally I prefer using Nivea creams cos they have a zero policy for bleaching.

My brother, that shouldn't be your business, every one decides how they want to live their lives. Bleaching is a choice, as long as no law against bleaching then every one has the right to do what they want with their skin. I believe that majority of people that bleach have reasons for doing so, some might be battling with insecurity about their real identity which can be categories as low self esteem. You can only educate them not to condemn

I hate seeing people bleach their skin. I personally can't do that. Most ladies around me has pigmentation around their eyes and I just look at them I laugh. The annoying part of it is seeing Guys bleach. That shit is really annoying

I think it's because of the fact that some of these creams are relatively cheap

Real oh, and if Nivea ever starts advertising whitening products I move to Ori. No time for stress

Why do you bleach when you can still look fresh without rubbing all those toxic chemicals.

I don't rub all those beauticians creams but I still look very very fresh. I only rub blue seal vaseline mixed with vitamin E capsules, drink a lot of water and take checkers custard with milk on a regular basis. As those contain majority of the vitamins needed by the body.

If you see my skin, it glows, looking all fresh like the sweet man that I am.

People, please stay away from bleaching creams. It will do you nothing good order than serenades your skin with multiple rainbow colours 🌈.

Instead of rubbing artificial cream, follow my own foot step by regularly taking alot of water, cuz it detoxifies your overall system and skin, rub vaseline mixed with vitamin E and take custard and milk regularly. Trust me, you will look naturally fresher than those that bleach their skins.

It's so irritating and often disgusting. NAFDAC and medical personnel have explained the health risks several times. Cancer, kidney issues, surgery complications etc but they never stop. The annoying thing is that they don't look beautiful, they look ridiculous especially after some years when the skin deteriorates.
Na dem sabi why.

They are fools, they feel that their creator did not design them very well, before person like me can bleach i will make sure the white people produce creams for them self that can turn them from white to black, pls any supermarket that has such the cream should notify me, the one that can make white people to look black in color.

Many Nigerians believe that dark skinned people are ugly, poor and dirty. According to them, you are beautiful and deserve wonderful things when you are fair and spotless.

They say people shouldn’t bleach but who doesn’t want the royal treatment often given to fair people and most especially fair women.
