Everybody (at least those with a brain) knows that Obi cannot win a presidential election in Nigeria. They also know LP will not be the party that produces a Nigerian president. We also know the opposition are plotting to coalesce under a new party. We also know that Obi is trying to formalize the Obidient movement as a distinct and seperate structure from LP in order to give him leverage in any negotiations with the proposed alliance.

All that is happening is LP can see the writing on the wall and know that Obi is likely to port to become VP in a new coalition party and are trying to reach out to him and prevent his leaving by assuring him of their ticket…..as if they have any option.

Despite the fact that Obi can’t win, LP know their purple patch is over if he leaves the party.

Otti we already know is heading back to APC, though he might do that after he wins his second term.

It seems some of you have not really come to terms with what really happened in 2023 and same was repeated in Edo governorship election. The elections were characterized by suppression of votes in exchange for dominant parties. Today many are regretting their actions. You guys need be cooling down because the story won't be the same again as many people have learnt their mistakes and are ready to correct that in 2027. Yes, Tinubu will spend the money and even want to surchange the system but people are waiting for them.
