Yes she is still alive
She just finished eating akamu now.
Still weak some how...
I believe it's the exhaustion from the "battle" with the snake that weakened your dog.Don't believe the dog was bitten.

seborrhic:
Fats MAY slow down poisons ingested, not,NEVER,venom that is passed through the blood vessel.
This stuff is very easy if you understand this:substances injected through the blood must be neutralized through the blood, basic principle.
Once a toxic substance gets into the blood,it tackles the blood or destroys the circulation that the entire body needs,or in otherwords,if a body system for example, the kidney is still able to receive blood supply, that blood is tainted with "toxins",destroying the kidneys,or the brain or the lungs, etc.
So how does palm oil you eat or drink help?
Palm oil that would take at least 6hours to be digested before the body gets the active components it needs from it,viz, fats, carbonhydrate, bit of minerals, none of which by the way,has any effect on venom, whenever the aforementioned end products enter the blood stream to be used by the body.
Another way to help you is this:if palm oil delays the venom, why all these years, scientists have not been telling people,"if snake bites you, before bringing the person to a Hospital, give palm oil first aid"?
Or you think palm oil is produced only in Nigeria?
Your points are valid no doubt, but there are some mysteries that defy logic. This happens to be one of such. I've seen it work on people and heard likewise.

The same can be said about the use of a certain types of stones for the adsorption of snake and Scorpion venom. This phenomenon cannot be backed scientifically, yet some people swear by it. For instance, my coursemate got relieved of a snake bite only after using this stone. No relieve came from the use of an antivenom...

Don’t heed to such advice, get a vermin eradicator to spray your surroundings, that’s your safest bet.
Ok boss

Thanks sir

So long as your chickens lay eggs and you regularly little chickens. snakes, cats, rodents and birds of prey will always come visiting frequently. There is a lot of undeveloped plots of land around my property too.

My uncle's GSD snapped a spitting Cobra into two one night.

We woke up to see the snake in two halves but the dog's eyes were already swollen and red.

We called a Vet immediately and after some fews day. The swollen eyes went away and the dog was normal again.
So lucky. I'm happy your dog survived it. Most venomous snakes sometimes bite and release little or no venom. It's called a dry bite. They do this to ward away a predator instead of wasting venom (they need lots of protein to produce venom), this might've been what happened to your dog, I doubt he would've survived a full envenomation. Anyways, I'm so so glad your dog survived

Can you suggest any effective ones that I can use? I have killed 3 snakes and more than 20 scorpions in my compound and in my house within just one year.

I want to ask.

If i got bitten by a snake, what will i do?

And, how will i even detect that i got bitten? Will i see a bite-mark there?
no, you will see a Tattoo.

First thing, get a piece of cloth and tie up the area, just move up small from the location of the bite and toe it up...then visit the nearest hospital.

Though we don't pray for such an incident, that's why it's good to litter your house with cola-nut. I do that in my house.

Prevention is better and cheaper than cure.

It does. I thank God for your dog. It literally saved you from the venomous snake. The dog sacrificed itself for you.
but most of our girlfriends can't

Na why I dey always give my female GSD a treat...that money I go give babe, it's either I use it for my self, or I use it to give my baby girl a treat.

I go enter abbatoir go buy meat for my baby girl, come cook and, garnish and well well, it gives me joy watching her devour it as she wags her tail telling me "thank you Daddy, you're the best".

Sniper is effective but you’ll need it in a larger quantity and it’s also too harsh for humans. Go to the market or to those who sell pesticides and you’ll get what you need.
